The Driver
Did you know that there is an award called the Darwin award and this is a funny, cheeky way of celebrating how stupidly we humans can behave sometimes? They award people who have killed themselves or destroyed their genitals in the most stupid way possible so that they cant have children. In this episode of The Habit Coach, Ashdin talks about human stupidity, how our lives are like big heavy machines and we are the driver- operator of this amazing machine. We can think of this machine as our body, we can think of this machine as our life, but we are the ones in control of both of these things. Learn how to use them well, know the direction we want to steer it in. We are the ones in charge of building something amazing or doing something stupid with it.Tune in to #TheHabitCoach with Ashdin Doctor.Check out the Awesome180 Habit Coach app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.awesome180.habitcoach&hl=en_IN&gl=USYou can follow Ashdin Doctor on Instagram @ashdindoc (https://www.instagram.com/ashdindoc/?hl=en)Check out Ashdin's website - Awesome180 (http://awesome180.com/)Youtube Channel: The Habit Coach - Awesome180: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZQpxuIf7moTOU8kCAu0ZfgYou can listen to this show and other awesome shows on the IVM Podcasts app on Android: https://ivm.today/android or iOS: https://ivm.today/ios, or any other podcast app.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Understanding Ashwagandha and Boswellia Feat. Rajat Mittal Shah
On the previous episode with Rajat Mittal Shah, Ashdin and Rajat spoke about turmeric in detail. On this second episode with her, Ashdin and Rajat talk about Ashwagandha (the Indian ginseng) and Boswellia. Do you know what Ashwagandha really means? It actually means the 'smell of the horse' in Sanskrit. Did you know that only 2% of ashwagandha is actually known to humans and even science has not understood the remaining 98% of the plant? Rajat talks about doing trials on the plant and learning the ways in which it helps the human body. Moving on, they also discuss Boswellia, it being a anti-inflammatory and how ayurveda prescribes it for our gut health. Rajat also talks about doing research on the plant for three years, boswellia being a plant that is not much known in the market, how the acids are extracted from the plant. Ashdin also asks Rajat about the part of the ashwagandha plant that can be consumed and if she would implore anyone not to try both the plants. Self Help Books Are Useless
Did you know that one of the most successful self-help books of all time was written back in 1937 and it is named 'Think and grow rich' by Napoleon Hill. He interviews the richest industrialists and the Moghuls of his time and identifies the commonality between all of them. In this episode of The Habit Coach, Ashdin talks about self-help books, how as humans we learn at different levels, how habits are a part of our subconscious mind. If you want to make a change in your life you have to change your habits, books are useless if we keep them at an intellectual level. We need to dig deep and allow them to change the way our subconscious thinks. To make the most of the self-help books, start reading them slowly and don't be in a hurry to finish them. Digest them, spend time each day thinking about what you have read, and think about turning whatever you have read into a habit.Tune in to #TheHabitCoach with Ashdin Doctor.Check out the Awesome180 Habit Coach app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.awesome180.habitcoach&hl=en_IN&gl=USYou can follow Ashdin Doctor on Instagram @ashdindoc (https://www.instagram.com/ashdindoc/?hl=en)Check out Ashdin's website - Awesome180 (http://awesome180.com/)Youtube Channel: The Habit Coach - Awesome180: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZQpxuIf7moTOU8kCAu0ZfgYou can listen to this show and other awesome shows on the IVM Podcasts app on Android: https://ivm.today/android or iOS: https://ivm.today/ios, or any other podcast app.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Life is a Sprint
Did you know that the more muscle mass a sprinter has, the faster they are? And this is because being fast while sprinting is not about how fast you can move your hands and legs, the speed comes from how much force you can push down into the ground. In this episode of The Habit Coach, Ashdin talks about Sprinting, how our lives are often like sprints but instead we treat them like marathons.
