Crystal Healing in the 21st Century
— Crystal Surgery is a new style of crystal healing, founded in the 1990's by Vivien Schapera. In Crystal Surgery, the crystals are used in very specific ways as tools for "operating" on both the energy field and the energy body. The energy field is the electromagnetic force field, which emanates from the physical body and the energy body, and surrounds the physical body. The energy body is the energetic duplicate of the physical body and is made up of etheric tissue. Etheric tissue consists of "materials" from the etheric dimension, in contrast to the physical body, which is made up of materials from the earthly dimension. Valeria Teles interviews Vivien Schapera — She is a Teacher, Energy Healer, Author, Founder Of Fourwinds Academy For The Healing Arts & Sciences, A School For Training Healers. Vivien Schapera has rare expertise in each of our 3 layers of existence – the physical, the mental and the spiritual; and she specializes in translating intuitive, energetic and spiritual dynamics into practical information for celebrating life. She began her career by training first in clinical psychology, and then in the Alexander Technique, a hands-on method for retraining neuromuscular dynamics. Through this work, Vivien developed a refined sensitivity to energy, leading her to add healing to her skills. In Everyday Magic (2002 and 2020), Vivien relates how the spirit world guided her, from childhood in Apartheid South Africa, growing up with her LGBTQ brother, through coming to the USA, and founding FourWinds Academy, a school for training healers(1999). Vivien's other books include How to Lose Weight and Gain Money (2004) and Guided Lessons for Students of the Alexander Technique (2010). In 2020, Vivien published an award-winning, groundbreaking textbook, The Complete Guide to Crystal Surgery, introducing the world to a new form of crystal healing. When not teaching, healing or writing, Vivien can be found gardening, cooking and spending time with her two granddaughters. Other interests include travel, photography and making YouTube videos. Vivien lives in Cincinnati, OH with her husband and two cats. Self-Compassion: The Missing Link To Healing
— When considering what makes people change in therapy we often focus on things like: how willing a client is to change, the relational fit between therapist and client as well as the efficacy of therapeutic interventions. But what about self-compassion? This doesn't seem to get top billing when thinking about how change happens. In order to seek healing, you need to be able to value yourself and see yourself as worthy of healing. We cannot heal what we don't love or feel care for. Cultivating self-compassion brings love, care and cooperation into your system instead of division and intolerance. And when you can entertain the idea that you might not be inherently wrong or bad, you have taken a significant step in healing. Valeria Teles interviews Tanya Fruehauf — She is Therapist, Founder Of Catalyst Counselling and Speaker. Tanya Fruehauf is a therapist and founder of Catalyst Counselling, a private therapy practice located in Vancouver B.C. Her practice focuses on helping adults heal and recover from complex trauma, codependency and addictive behavior. With an MA from Adler University, Tanya is also a CMAT, Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist through IITAP (The International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals). Tanya has been featured on local radio as well as in various media publications including Readers Digest and Psychology Today. She believes that healing is found in connection and seeks to help clients to cultivate this within themselves and with others. Self-Care Is The Solution: It's An Inside Job
— "Spiritual self-care is essential for the spiritually attuned individual. It is an area worth exploring if you are desiring expansion, deeper connection with all that is, and discovering your Divine purpose on this earthly plane. This can be done through mindfulness and meditation, practicing rituals of your faith and beliefs, attending spiritual workshops and retreats, seeking like-minded and like-hearted spiritual support, reading spiritual literature and through connection with nature. Spirituality is deeply personal and varies by individual. Part of the spiritual path is discovering yourself and your personal truths. Much can be gained through spiritual self-care practices." Suzie DeVaughn's work provides an in-depth perspective on the categories of self-care including: physical, psychological, interpersonal/social, professional, spiritual, and energy management/clearing. It gives us awareness, inspiration, ideas, and techniques regarding the effective use of self-care as the foundation of healthy and mindful living. This helps to counterbalance personal and professional life stress resulting in increased resiliency, energy optimization, balance and wholeness. What we need is a self-care movement in which each person loves, cares, and takes responsibility for one's self. By acknowledging and responding to our needs, we have more energy and compassion to help others. In this scenario, everyone benefits. Valeria Teles interviews Suzie DeVaughn — the author of "Mastering Self-Care: Building Resiliency Through Healthy and Mindful Living" Suzie DeVaughn, LMSW, REV received her BA from University of Kansas, a Master's of Social Work from Wichita State University and has Compassion Fatigue Educator and Therapist Certifications from the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. In her private practice Suzie uses a synthesis of mindfulness-based psychotherapy modalities including Hakomi Body-Centered Psychotherapy, EMDR, Neuro-Emotional Technique and Psych K. Suzie is also the founder and CEO of Blossoming Heart Center through which she facilitates emotional energy healing, hands-on healing, psycho-spiritual workshops and retreats anywhere in the world. The World Of What Really Is: Simple & Beautiful
— Our true nature is simple and beautiful, thoughts are complicated and intricate. Learn to know the difference. Our true nature is always present, in each moment, as it is now. We didn't create it and we can't stop it. Yet we've been taught that what we can't perceive with our mind and senses is not real, that intuition is unreliable and living like this is dangerous, immature and irresponsible. The truth is contrary to this. Our thoughts and understandings are by their very nature temporary and fragile. They come from the assumption that we can actually know or control things. And so we defend, attack, withdraw, and even kill or die for these beliefs. But when we do, the essence of our true spirit is brutally pushed aside and we lose so much of life. Valeria Teles interviews Ruth Bar Shalev — the author of " What Really Is: How Would Life Look If We Knew That We Are Not Our Thoughts?" RuthBarShalev is a student/disciple, coach and coaching teacher, leader of innovative projects whose time has come, writer, creator, mother of four and grandmother of three, almost 60 years old. Ruth has been coaching for the past 30 years and is one of the pioneers of coaching in Israel. She has led and facilitated breakthrough processes in many different fields, working with the military, women's organizations, the Israeli Ministry of Education, and on inter Arab – Jewish relations, both in Israel and abroad. Ruth has coached thousands of people, hundreds of businesses, startups and state institutions, and trained dozens of coaches. For the past 18 years she has developed a way of coaching and named it: The Art of What Really Is. For the past three years she has been writing, and has published the book "WHAT REALLY IS" alongside a rich website whose vision and beauty emerged from a life journey, a journey that seeks truth in her personal life, in the life of her loved ones and of the people she had and has the privilege to coach. The knowledge which is at the core of all of Ruth's work, wishes to enable a person to remember the wisdom with which we are born, the wisdom of the soul, and to live it in each and every moment and situation. The book, the website and especially the coaching of The Art of What Really Is, teaches a person to distinguish between his or her true nature, and his or her thoughts and the reality their thoughts present to them. True knowledge is motion, a new vision being revealed and not fixed ideas and conclusions. Therefore it requires a high level of devotion, of giving oneself over, so that the motion, the art of life, can reveal itself. Your Body Wants To Be Healthy: Are You Listening To It?
— Do you ever wonder what your life would be like if you had the body of your dreams without stressing over it? To be healthy and at your ideal body weight? Not having to suffer through exercise you don't like or being on the diet that you can't wait to end? The human body is absolutely amazing. It can self-heal almost any sickness and stay at a happy body weight. It can even tell you how to get there. Your body has been programmed for millions of years. Now you need to connect with it to become aware of what it needs. Communicating is an easy process. Get to know and crave food that is best for your body, which exercise or diet is ideal, and joyful for you, and how to stay healthy during times when you don't have a chance to be your body's best buddy. The weight-loss and drug industries are some of the highest profitable businesses in the world for one main reason. Their solutions rarely work for the problems. People who don't find help come back to try another diet next year, another miracle pill, or hope to stick with a new kind of exercise program. There is a small chance that they will succeed. These industries are well aware of it. Just as you cannot control your breathing or your digestion, you cannot boss your body around. The only way to win is to become friends with your body. You have to care enough to gain your body's trust in order for it to work with you. Valeria Teles interviews Otakara Klettke — the author of the international best-selling books: "Hear Your Body Whisper: How to Unlock Your Self-Healing Mechanism and Hear Your Brain Whisper: How to Unlock Your Mind's Potential." Otakara Klettke is a former investigative TV reporter and also the author of the children's fictional book series Detective Bella Unleashed. Her #1 best-selling non-fiction book became an instant hit since it was published in 2016 and reached tens of thousands of readers. Her audience calls Otakara the Body Whisperer and after the rise of the pandemic in 2020, she owned up to the title and started teaching people to become their own body whisperers. She has an unconventional method and coaching that brings joy and achievement to all her clients. The success of her book, her knack for communicating to a broad audience, and her ability to break down complicated subjects into compelling yet easy-to-understand information have earned Otakara many interviews on podcasts such as Learn True Health, Discover Your Talent, as well as on other radio, webinars, and workshops. She is available to share her expertise on health, writing, self-publishing, homeschooling, and the importance of reading for children. Peaceful Parents — Happy Children
— People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life. … I think that what we're seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive — said Joseph Campbell. Young people want parents to listen more, be more fun and relaxed, be more respectful, and to be less judgmental and more honest. Active listening means we repeat what we think we understood even if we don't agree, including feelings, so the other person can check for accuracy. We don't assume we know what the other person is feeling. Good communication aims to understand underlying needs and motivations, which may not be conscious. We pay attention to learning about different temperaments and personality types, which helps us be understanding and therefore more patient. Valeria Teles interviews Gayle Kimball — the author of "How to Survive Your Parents' Divorce: Kids Advice to Kids, Answers to Kids' Deep Questions in Photos and Calm Parents and Children: A Guidebook." Evolving The Mystery Of Being Human By Being Love Itself
— Every moment of being alive is truly a miracle: An opportunity to open and receive the blessing of discovering the most intimate relationship we will ever have. Once we are here and have sufficiently landed our spirit down into the holy flesh and bones of our human experience, real life begins. The life of this present moment is then not only here to be experienced: we also get to participate, contribute and respond with more and more agency. We get to discover how to wield the gentle art of stewarding a genuine life. We are not just here to merely survive the awakening process; we also inherited a deeper potential from the wisdom miracle of our origins and that is to thrive. Being of service and benefiting the whole that we now recognize we are intrinsically one with becomes the primary motive. The kiss that we have always wanted becomes the kiss that we are now able to give. Not the overriding, spiritual bypass, 'make nicety nice, hide & seek, appease and kiss ass kiss' – but the kiss of integrity that lands and reverberates as a benediction, a prayer and confirmation of the real. No matter what fates we have been given; inherent in our birth is the opportunity of a lifetime, to receive, allow and evolve the mystery of being human by being Love itself.
