The Power of Podcasting to Spread Your Message with Danny and Brianne Hoefelmann

Obviously, I'm biased, but I believe podcasting is one of the best ways to get your message heard by more people out in the universe, especially if you're a business owner. In previous episodes, we heard from Kacia Ghetmiri about growing and scaling your podcast, building an audience, and how to get the most out of your podcast. I want to add another lens to this and talk about who podcasting is good for, who it's not good for, how to approach your podcast, and what you should have in place to be successful. In this episode, I discuss all of this with a couple who is just as passionate about podcasting as I am, Danny and Brianne Hoefelmann. Danny and Brianne run a company called The Good in Media. They are all about sharing more good, positive energy in the world, and one way they do that is through podcasting. They serve several entrepreneurs by running their entire podcast service. What I love about them is that they have found a way to integrate as a couple into this business and have become experts in the podcasting space by working with their clients and also managing their own shows. I am excited to have them on the show to share all their knowledge and energy with you. * Find Danny and Brianne on IG @thegoodinmedia * Visit their website: www.thegoodinmedia.com * Questions about this episode? Implementing Focus and Priority in Your Business

You may be surprised to find out that many of our calls as CFOs for our clients consist of a lot of coaching around non-financial issues. We check in with our clients regularly and we hear about whatever it is that they are struggling with at the time. Recently, a client was struggling with balancing time and effort. They wanted to serve their clients, answer all the DMs, and do all the things, but they were overwhelmed and didn't know how to keep everybody happy. The discussion we had with this client inspired me to share what I've learned to help tackle this issue because I've been there myself and know how challenging it can be. * Questions about this episode? How to Allocate Your Spending

How do I prioritize my spending? How do I know where to allocate my money? What should I be doing first? I get these questions all the time, and many folks just want to be told what to do, but it doesn't work that way. The way you allocate your spending always has to anchor back to your goals and be in line with how you are prioritizing your desired outcomes. What I can do is share my opinion on priorities for most business owners, and I can tell you the priorities I think most business owners should use as inspiration. * Questions about this episode? Standing Out on Social with Kristina Bartold

Change is always uncomfortable, but it can lead us to revisit our strategy and stay nimble so we can pivot when we need to. One thing I've noticed with online entrepreneurs lately is they have a heavy focus on Instagram and showing up on social media in a certain way. There's a lot of pressure to use certain tactics, tools, and tricks to attempt to shortcut the process. I wanted to bring someone on the show who could dissect Instagram strategies and articulate how she advises her clients on mastering social media and building an online brand. Kristina Bartold is the CEO of The Social Snippet, which is a social media agency focused on helping entrepreneurs and small businesses build their digital communities. Kristina believes the key to easy lead generation and sales is authenticity online and leaning into using social media to create impact. She's proud to have helped solo entrepreneurs of up to multi-six-figure businesses find their voice and amplify it online. I am excited for you to hear her take on building community and what it really means to be authentic when building your brand. * Find Kristina on IG @kristina.bartold or @thesocialsnippet * Visit her website: www.thesocialsnippet.com * Questions about this episode? Questions to Ask an Accountant Before You Hire Them

As a business owner, you have the choice to be intentional about who you let into your business inner circle. And when you are hiring someone who will be really involved in your business, like an accountant, you want to find someone with good rapport who you can connect with and trust. This is important because if you don't have that connection and trust, it can impair your relationship with that person and the impact they have on your business. To help you find the right accountant for you, I've compiled some questions and ways you can evaluate a potential accountant that you work with. These questions are based on ways that I've seen things go sideways with accountants and will help you evaluate their experience, expertise, and expectations. * Questions about this episode? From Investing Time to Investing Money

As I was building my business, it was all about investing time, but eventually, I got to the point where I just couldn't do it anymore. I realized that as entrepreneurs, to continue growing and reach the next level, we have to make the shift from investing our time to make money to investing our money to make time. If you are in growth mode, I want to encourage you to look at where you are in this spectrum of investing time and money because you will eventually hit a limit with your business if you're not willing to make that shift. * Questions about this episode?
