As a business owner, you have the choice to be intentional about who you let into your business inner circle. And when you are hiring someone who will be really involved in your business, like an accountant, you want to find someone with good rapport who you can connect with and trust. This is important because if you don't have that connection and trust, it can impair your relationship with that person and the impact they have on your business. To help you find the right accountant for you, I've compiled some questions and ways you can evaluate a potential accountant that you work with. These questions are based on ways that I've seen things go sideways with accountants and will help you evaluate their experience, expertise, and expectations.
