Episode 226: Content Creation Strategies For Your Veterinary Practice
In today's episode, I go over content, content types, content creation, and content strategies for your veterinary practice. While we have gone over content in the past, the world and how content creation is done have changed. With creating content it is super important to have a content strategy that you exacts of who you are targeting and what you are putting out. With how much content is out on the internet it is important to move away from general info and content. With your content, you will want to have high quality and high value information you are providing your audience with. Let's talk about the content types that are working now and in the future and the 4 mediums you can use: Text-Blog Post Image-Facebook, Instagram, and social posts Audio- Podcasts and Video- Most bang for your buck option because it can be used for years over and over again An example of a content strategy I would use in a veterinary practice would be. Knowing who I want to target, who I want coming through the door and what they are interested in. Create 1 pillar piece of content a month that is super high quality. And create this content that is very specific and niche for your unique audience. Creating long form content (which is content that lasts over 10 minutes long) allows you to stand out by providing your audience super high quality information and content that is valuable. Episode 225: How Content and Email Marketing Can Help Your Practice Grow With Abby Herman
In today's episode, I am joined by special guest Abby Herman content and email marketing extraordinaire from The Content Experiment where we discuss content marketing but more specifically email marketing and how you can use email marketing in your veterinary practice to grow. Abby has been working with her business full time since 2016 where she has helped many people with their content marketing and email marketing. Her company helps their clients build out strategies for their content marketing around what they want to share and put out for their audiences. Veterinary practices can grow their content marketing by getting to know what their clients are actually wanting and needing by sending out surveys. Surveys can include what challenges are your clients facing at the moment, how they like to consume their content and information about pets (to know where you can reach them), and what seasonal issues could be a concern for them. Practices can figure out what clients want and need by surveys to generate content topics and posts. Using email to reach your clients on a regular basis to be sure to keep your practice at the top of their mind rather than getting lost in the inbox by only checking in once or twice a year. Treat your emails to clients as a way to add value to their lives and to keep your audience informed with helpful and useful information about pet care and how they can keep their pets healthy and safe. Episode 224: All About Youtube Ad Placements and Types.
In today's episode, It's all about Youtube ads! I share what you need to know about Youtube ads types, ad placements, the different placements you get to chose, and all the opportunities for your veterinary practice using youtube ads. Here the 6 types of placements are: -Skippable In-stream Ads This placement is the most recognizable and most common choice where you have the option to place at the beginning, middle, or end of the video has to be a minimum of 15 Seconds long or longer. These are a great choice for your first impression so potential clients can get an understanding of who you are by learning more through the ad. -Non-Skippable In-stream Ads has to be a maximum of 15 Seconds long or shorter. Non-skippable ads are great for retargeting people who have looked into your practice before. -Out Stream Ads This ad placement varies for the others as this ad is an autoplay. This Ad plays automatically and is mobile-only. While you would have great impressions and views its probably not a choice to use for your veterinary practice as there is no intent behind the views. -Conversion Ads Great for online sales and stores and you get to select the outcome you want however it comes with a need for a big budget -Ad sequences Creates a sequence of videos and delivers to your ad audience in a specific order. Perfect to consider to use for your employment ads -Shopping Ads Great placement to sell physical items in your practice that is underutilized by vet practices Reminder! Episode 223: Marketing & SEO Approaches,Strategies and More With Brandon Boyd
In Todays Episode I am joined by special guest Brandon Boyd from Vet and Pet SEO and The Practice Heist Podcast to talk about SEO and digital marketing for your veterinary practice. We share some strategies, approaches, and even misconceptions in digital marketing and SEO. Here are some key approaches and strategies to think about for your veterinary practice digital marketing. -Solve a Problem First Frame your sale in a way that provides your clients with solutions to their problems or concerns by focusing on the benefits of a service, product, etc rather than just the features of the product and service. -Narrow Down Tactics and Strategies Have a very clear strategy that you can use for your digital marketing that will actually work and help your practice grow. -Create Expert Knowledge Content Your content that your practice produces is very important because you want to create content that will serve your current clients but also allow you to reach new audiences. Create expert professional level content that is easy for your audience to understand and comprehend but also evergreen that can be relevant at any time. -Create Content First and Find Keywords Second While keywords in your headlines are great for increasing your SEO ranking be sure to create content for your audience first and then find your keywords. SEO may tell you where you rank but it doesn't give insight into your conversion rate.
