Shawn Wells on mindset, politics, and the future of keto!

In this episode, I speak with a great friend and repeat guest, Shawn Wells!  Shawn is a supplement and nutritional expert, widely known as the "Master Formulator".  However, we didn't dive into supplementation in this episode.  We dove into mindset, politics, relationships, and how the future of Keto may play out.  We talked about the importance of sympathy and how to meet people where they are.  We talked about the "bliss point" in processed and convenient foods.  Shawn went into detail about how the government has played a bad hand in our nation's food supply.  We talk about the importance of surrounding yourself with positivity and growth.  Both Shawn and I are working to truly be in the moment so we discussed that as well as the art of giving.  I really enjoyed this conversation, it's always a pleasure talking with Shawn!

Zac Griffith on the art and lifestyle of a hunter!

In this episode, I speak with avid bowhunter Zac Griffith! Zac and I immediately hit it off on our shared appreciation for hunting and the outdoors. He dove into his views on conservation and how to appreciate the circle of life. He talked about how he is working to be a positive role model for the next generation of hunters. We talked about his nutrition and how he transitioned from the SAD diet to Keto to the OMAD approach he follows now. We talked about the art and technique behind bow hunting and all that it involves. Zac gave us some insight on how he has optimized his routine, diet, training, and life in general. I really enjoyed this conversation and it inspired me in many ways. In this episode, I speak with Matthew Clemente on his incredible keto transformation! Matt has lost over 200 pounds and has continued to improve his life on a day to day basis. He dives into how he was able to break the mental and emotional cycle that could have easily led to him giving up on his health. He talks about the difference between compromise and sacrifice and how to leverage that difference. Matt shares how he has controlled his food habits and gives tips on how to make this lifestyle sustainable. In this episode, I speak with repeat guest Marcus Aurelius Anderson! Marcus is a successful TEDx speaker, life coach, martial arts master, and all around awesome human being! We dive into the mindset on this episode so buckle up. We talk about adversity and how to leverage it as a strength. We cover the importance of being responsible for every action you make and owning up to it. We both feel discipline is one of the greatest contributing factors to success so we dove into that. Marcus and I covered balance...Is it bullshit? Is it attainable? Is it even desirable? We compare and contrast the concept of taking a measured approach to that of going all in with maximum effort. We covered much more than just the mindset, we talked about how to actually apply it in your own life so that you can do the work. Ross Taylor on the origination of the F-Bomb business!

In this episode I had the pleasure of speaking with Ross Taylor, founder of the F-Bomb macadamia nut butters! Ross was a huge help to me in the beginning of Keto Brick and I've learned so much from him from a business perspective. We dove into the details behind starting the F-Bomb business. We went into the weeds about the legal implications, trademarks, LLC's, certifications, and all of the regulations. We compared the advantages/disadvantages of producing a product in house vs outsourcing it. We talked about some of the business pitfalls and lessons learned.
