Mark Divine - The MINDSET of A ZEN Navy SEAL | Mental Health Coach
About seven years ago, I listened to today's guest, Mark Divine, on Tom Bilyeu's Inside Quest. And I was immediately captivated, like I could not actually put into words the thoughts going through my head. Early in this journey, he talked about things that I have always been interested in: martial arts, meditation, and yoga. I would come later to find that Mark was not only a Navy seal and an entrepreneur, business owner, author, podcast host, and Zen practitioner, but also just an incredible and giving human. It's an honor for me today to sit across from him and have this conversation on this podcast.
There are times in our lives when we have the opportunity to sit and have conversations with people who may be our heroes or mentors or people that we look up to, and I did not take that lightly. And I don't take your time lightly either because I know the huge amount of investment you spend when you come and share this experience with me and so, for that, I say thank you.
Mark's journey is really bathed in decisions like so many people to go and create the life, to be the conspire of your own journey and your own story. And like anyone on a vision quest to discover and better understand who he is, I'm incredibly excited about this episode.
Before we get in, I want to read a quote from his book, Unbeatable Mind, just to kind of lay the context and the groundwork for the expectation of what you're about to step into.
“Yoga reinforced the notion that daily training and practice was more important than any specific teacher or skill. The journey of disciplining and yolking the word yoga means to yolk the mind, body, and spirit to steal itself and focus on higher-order notions of being and living is one of the greatest secrets to personal development, just as the body will atrophy without constant training, the mind and spirit will not develop and will atrophy without a similar focus.”
My friends. I'm very excited to be with you today to share this incredible conversation with Mark Divine.

Jenna Kutcher - If You Want To FIND YOUR PURPOSE In Life | Trauma Healing Podcast
Change is inevitable; it's as imminent as the moon, the tide, and the seasonal Starbucks menu; it's a rite of passage for all of us. Transformation is power, energy, and momentum. It keeps us moving forward. It's the one given in life that everything will change, that all will be made new that evolution is just around the corner for all of us. That is an excerpt from Jenna Kutcher's new book – how are you really.
I'm incredibly excited to have Jenna on the show today for a couple of reasons. One, she and I share some very symbiotic backstory experiences. Two because she has been a powerhouse in empowering women, entrepreneurs, and business owners around the world to own their greatness, their power, and their ability to be leaders.
And I think that's incredibly important, especially in the conversation about personal development, growth, and change. She's also the host of one of the top-rated podcasts in the world called “Goal Digger” which I love, and I started listening to years ago. And having her on the show really means a lot to me because I wanted to sit and have a conversation with her about the depth and scope of not only change but empowerment for women and also the conversation about her having a husband who happens to be a stay-at-home husband, who is the foundation and cornerstone a lot of what she's been able to build through having an amount of trust and connection and love and empowerment.
The conversation we're about to have is really beautiful. I felt so honored to share it with you today because as her new book is coming out, and I think about this as an author all the time, we need to support each other.
I'm very excited to share this episode with you – Unbroken Nation. It's going to be a game-changer for one of you out there!

Jonathan Le - Neuroscience of holistic health and wellness | CPTSD and Mental Health Podcast
Did you know that it's possible to rewire the neuro pathways of your brain? Do you know about neuroplasticity? Do you know about how the amygdala and the hippocampus work? Do you know how to access your prefrontal cortex?
I'm very excited about today's episode with my guest, clinical psychologist Jonathan Le, who is an absolute, incredible human being who has helped thousands of people be able to step into their healing journey. I invited Jonathan onto the show, so he could talk about many different things, including his H.E.N model, which he'll get into, as well as what I think is a really important and fascinating aspect of mental health that's not talked about a lot nor enough it is the bio psychological models including how to create a healthy and holistic healing approach. I really appreciated being able to have this conversation with Jonathan because even as someone who is deep into this mental health recovery, healing trauma overcoming game, this thing that we do here at Think Unbroken, I’m always want to learn, I'm always trying to develop new tools, I'm trying to have better understandings about the world, I'm always trying to get to what is next in life, and this conversation was absolutely phenomenal.
So, I'm inviting you to come and check it out.
Sit with us, listen, and take this in.
And you may want to listen to this episode more than once because Jonathan will lay out some incredibly practical tools and understandings that I believe will benefit you on your journey.

DJ Dramos - Listen for THE SECRET to Being Fulfilled | Mental Health Podcast
What would you do if you had everything you ever wanted, everything you'd ever worked for, if you had paid all your dues, if you've sacrificed everything you needed to make your dreams come true, and then realize that maybe it's not for you.
In today's episode, my guest is DJ Dramos, who you may know from the breakfast club. Now, if you know his story, you know that he's no longer with the breakfast club. One of the most syndicated daytime morning radio talk shows in the history of the radio. This conversation was really powerful because I think one thing that happens so often in someone's journey in this held true for Dramos is that we think we have everything that we want. And then, when we listen to ourselves and figure out how to build what we want, we finally have it. Sometimes we discover that it's actually truly the journey that fulfills us and not the destination.
I am very excited to have this conversation with him today because it is enlightening for me, and I hope it will be for you. And I hope, if anything, it'll give you some inspiration to move towards creating the life you want to have and being the hero of your own story.
So, without further ado, my friends let's get into the show.

Seth Erickson - Why Your STORY MATTERS | CPTSD and Trauma Healing Coach
I'm very excited to share today's episode with my guest, Seth Erickson, a branding expert. I wanted to have Seth on, even though the show isn't necessarily entrepreneurial; as you guys have heard me say before, I always feel like this sense of freedom that comes with entrepreneurship and living your dreams really starts with your voice, your mission, your message, and this back and forth.
Seth and I talk about the importance of the willingness to honor your voice, to hold your truth, and to put yourself out there even, especially when life is scary as it can sometimes be. And in my journey, I've found that the more I was willing to put myself out there, the more I was willing to face the possible criticism of the world, regardless of what they believe versus what I believe, the more sure-footed I've become in this experience.
I hope that you'll take from this episode maybe a little hope or even a planting of a seed of an idea that your mission and your story truly do matter. And that storytelling is a beautiful way to convey that to the world!

Radical Confidence | CPTSD and Mental Health Coach
In this episode, I'm very excited to share with you an excerpt from a book that recently came out, and it's called “Radical Confidence” by Lisa Bilyeu.
I want to read this excerpt from the book because it was moving to me, and I think that when you sit in your truth, you discover that sometimes the very person in your way is you, and the book is beautiful if you haven't read it, please do.

MJ Vogel - Surviving and thriving | CPTSD and Trauma Coach
In this episode, I sit with my friend Mallisa J Vogel, a high-performance coach, author, and speaker who has arguably one of the craziest stories I've ever heard in my life.
I don't even want to spoil it for you right now. Still, I'm going to tell you this like sitting here, being able to have this conversation today was like, I just had so many holy shits like, I cannot believe that happened to you moments that I'm speechless, I'll let you guys know I am fucking do this for a living. I'm always talking, coaching, and doing podcasts, and I just was like, wow, if you can overcome that – my audience, the Unbroken Nation, I need you to hear this as a reminder that no matter what we come from and what we've been through or where it is that we are today that we can still create and build the life that we want to have tomorrow, despite near death, despite poverty and homelessness, despite not being educated, despite surgeries and medical intervention, despite all of the chaos of the world, all the things that we may go through, all of the hurt, the suffering, the pain that we can still create and build the life that we want to have.
This conversation was beautiful and powerful. I hope today you will hear this and feel inspired and motivated and find the drive and willingness to persevere through the struggle, through the parts of life that feel insurmountable, and to say no fuck that, I'm going to be the hero of my own story.
Let's get into the show!

Eric Zimmer - Overcoming Multiple Rock bottoms | Trauma Healing Coach
In this episode, I am joined by my friend and fellow podcaster – Eric Zimmer, who is a behavioral coach, an author, and the host of the one you feed podcast, and he's on a mission that is inspired to have a greater understanding of how our minds work and how to create the lives we want to live intentionally.
At twenty-four years old, Eric was homeless, addicted to heroin, and facing a long prison sentence. It's an honor to have him on the show to talk about his journey; he has struggled with addiction and struggled through hitting rock bottom multiple times, his struggles in trying to figure out who he was.
As someone who has gone through the throws of trying to figure out identity, I parallel Eric in many ways. This conversation is heartfelt, honest, vulnerable, and beautiful.
I was lucky enough to be a guest on his show, and it's an honor to have him here on Think Unbroken to share his journey and story with you, the Unbroken Nation. I know you'll get so much out of this because I certainly did, and it's a conversation I'll remember forever.

Jon Gordon - The Power of Positive | CPTSD and Mental Health Podcast
In this episode, today's guest – Jon Gordon. He's a best-selling author and international speaker. He's written twenty-four books, one of them which is called the “Energy Bus,” sold over two million copies, he's a graduate from Cornell, he's a master and teaching from emery, and he is just a powerhouse of a human being. His story and journey are like ones, not just all of these really incredible cool accouterments to the human experience but a lot of struggle and scary long nights and being dramatically in debt and losing it all but the willingness to figure it out and keep going.
I felt so inspired after this conversation with Jon because it was just such a reminder when I was kind of in this little bit of a dark place a few months ago, where it was like keep going, just keep going, just keep going, like I tell you guys all the time there's always light, there's always light at the end of the tunnel. It holds true in my life; I see a whole truth in people's lives every day, and it holds true here for Jon and his story.
I hope you'll take out of the conversation I have with Jon here today that self-belief is everything. I know that can be difficult to navigate sometimes, especially when life feels hard, daunting, meticulous, difficult, and sad. We suffer and go through the throws of all of the things that are the human experience. Still, if you're willing to hold on to the truth that betting on yourself and following through and doing whatever it takes will create a massive change in your life, that is exactly what will happen, and that's the conversation I have with Jon today. It was really beautiful timing for me because a few months ago, I felt well like, you know what is the point of Think Unbroken, what is the point of killing myself over building this, what is the point of everything? And it was just being in the crux of a lot of transition in my life and filling not necessarily depressed but just kind of a little blue and feeling like, okay, get back into the tools, get back into the habits into the routines and the beliefs and keep just executing and going forward and then I look at the kind of the last four months and it's been absolutely incredible.
You know, sitting here in the new studio with you, having just spoken to New York City, having a billboard of me there, which is really crazy, working on the next book, the Men's Coaching Group Program it's about to launch. So, many really, really cool things are happening, and it's just again a testament to executing against the tools and recognizing that we will all have bad days still, there's always light; if you're willing to bet yourself and keep going then that's a lot of what Jon and I discussed in today's conversation on the podcast.
I would read an excerpt of the book, but I don't think I would do justice because Jon's energy is unbelievable, his thought about life is unbelievable, and it was an honor to sit down with him and have this conversation.
