👉🏻 Our guest is Lee Poston PT, Dip. MDT, C.S.C.S, Practicing GOATA Coach and Co-owner of Therapeutic Associates of Maui. Lee has been a PT for 28 years. He has worked in acute care, and sports medicine clinics, and was a traveling PT for about 3 years. He took his first MDT course in 1999 and his world was flipped upside down. He became a McKenzie Diplomat in 2009. He was also a CrossFit Box owner and experienced a knee injury that lead him over the years to GOATA. After recoding and feeling the difference, he has worked on increasing his knowledge/skills and has implemented them into his PT practice. Lee feels GOATA is the perfect complement to the genius that is MDT. Lee believes, like Robin McKenzie, Coach Jose “Gil” Boesch is a genius as he was able to search and recognize the correct movement pattern and prevent himself from a lumbar fusion due to repeated disc herniations at 3 levels in his late 20’s and early 30’s.

He was born in New Zealand and trained in Australia. He works in the UK National Health Service and has been awarded a Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Fellowship, the highest award the CSP can offer. He has been acknowledged as an eminent clinician in his profession (UK Department of Health National AHP Clinical Expert Database). Jeremy has taught over 500 international workshops in over 45 countries and territories on this favorite clinical subject, the shoulder. Lindsay graduated from Sage College with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015 after completing her B.S. in Athletic Training and B.A. in Health Sciences in 2012 at Castleton State University. She has been an Athletic Trainer at the High School, Junior USA Olympic, and Collegiate levels. She completed her MDT-specialty clinical rotation, under the advisement of Joseph R. Maccio, in 2015 and has remained on staff full-time since then, also becoming certified in the McKenzie Method in 2015 and completed her Diploma residency program in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through McKenzie Institute International in 2022. She is the recipient of the 2017 Ron Bybee Scholarship Award which was utilized to help her pursue this higher-level training in the McKenzie Method. She is the lead author of 3 peer-reviewed MDT publications and has co-authored 2 additional MDT works. 👉🏻 Our guest is Jon Weinberg, PT, Dip. MDT. Jon earned his BSc from the Royal London School of Physiotherapy in 1994. After successfully attaining his Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in 2005, he entered the McKenzie Institute Faculty Training Program and was appointed to Teaching Faculty for both the USA and Israel in 2008. Jon has served as a Clinical Mentor for students at Ithaca College in Upstate New York. He is also an active contributor to MDT research, having co-authored studies in seven peer-review publications. Additionally, Jon has served as the Treasurer of the International Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy Research Foundation since 2014. Jon is currently in active practice in Cary, NC, serving as CEO and Head Physical Therapist for his own Team Care Physical Therapy. John is an affiliate at the University of North Carolina working with their athletes and also works as the PT for the NFL’S Brain and Body program.
