👉🏻Our guest is Thomas Dreisinger, Ph.D. Dr. Dreisinger has a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri. In the late 1980s, he began clinical work in the assessment, management, and treatment of patients with chronic back and neck pain. His background spans nearly 40 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation, orthopedics, and physical medicine. He has presented scientific papers both in the United States and abroad on topics related to the management of chronic back pain patients and clinical outcomes. He has published articles in biomedical journals including Spine, Orthopedics, Journal of Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Paraplegia, and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Additionally, he has provided successful venture-funded injury prevention programs in Upper Extremity and Spine for Fortune 500 companies including Tyson Foods, United/Northwest Airlines, and 3M. He has owned conservative care rehabilitation practices treating musculoskeletal injuries of the back and neck. Dreisinger has served as a member of the North American Spine Society, a fellow in the American Back Society, and is an Emeritus Fellow in the American College of Sports Medicine. He has served on national and international Boards including Trustee for the McKenzie Institute International, Chair of the McKenzie International Research Foundation, The Vert Mooney Foundation, and the North American Spine Foundation.

Bridget graduated as a physical therapist from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1999. She has worked in multiple settings including acute, rehab, SNF, and hospital-based outpatient, and has found her home in private practice outpatient for the last 12 years. Bridget was certified in MDT in 2014. Her interests in PT are all things mechanical diagnosis and therapy and helping people who suffer from chronic pain utilizing capnometry, breathing mechanics, and World of Hurt education. Audrey has over 30 years of clinical experience that started with a few years of hospital work, then 8 years in a chronic worker’s comp multidisciplinary program, and many years now in private practice. She completed her Diploma Program in New Zealand at Robin McKenzie’s Wellington clinic in 1993 and was promoted to Teaching Faculty in 1997. Since then, she has taught MDT courses to clinicians across Canada and in the past, courses in the US as well. 👉🏻 Our guest is Dr. Amanda Gentz Curry, PT, DPT. Dr. Curry earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2011 and has worked in the acute care setting since graduation. Working first with adults in a large urban hospital in Memphis, TN she swore she would never work in pediatrics until an opportunity in 2017 led her to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. There she started the early mobility program in the PICU with her fellow rehab and critical care team members. She passed her Oncology Specialty Certification exam in 2021 and continues her work in the acute care setting.
