Welcome back to Season 2 of 1946: The Culture Shift Tour! In this meaningful episode, we sit down with Odette Miranda and Nathalie Maldonado, two incredible women who helped bring Spanish subtitles to the groundbreaking documentary 1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture.Odette and Nathalie share why this work matters deeply in Spanish-speaking faith communities, how their personal journeys as LGBTQ+ Christians shaped their involvement, and the behind-the-scenes challenges of translating both language and heart into the subtitles.💬 “It’s not just a translation—it’s an invitation to healing for millions.”For the first time ever, Spanish-speaking audiences can experience the documentary with LATIN SPANISH subtitles—available now on Eventive.orgAvailable subtitle languages include:Simplified & Traditional ChineseThaiJapaneseFrenchDutchSpanish (NEW!)Important Update for Our Community: While our incredible supporters helped us create subtitle files, we recently learned those files are not fully compatible with Apple TV’s compliance requirements. To move 1946 globally across Apple and YouTube platforms, we now need to redo all subtitle files—a project that comes with a $10,000 unexpected bill.Until we complete that milestone, the film is only available worldwide on Eventive at a special price of $6.99. We want to be transparent about the ongoing work and costs it takes to share this message across languages and platforms.
