Interview Sessions Ep 47 with Heather Parady
Ep 47 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with Heather Parady entrepreneur, podcast host and community leader.
It was great to hear how Heather has pursued her calling and entrepreneurship from an early age.
I enjoyed hearing what it meant to be an “unconventional leader” and in Heather’s words, some of the best leaders come from unconventional backgrounds and have developed great empathy, are purpose driven and impact focused. Something I wholeheartedly connect with.
There were lots of other practical things to note in our conversation, particularly the really strong habit of journalling which Heather has maintained for over 10 years.
Head to YouTube | Facebook | Podcast for the full interview and be sure to check out HeatherParady.com

Interview Sessions Ep 45 with Kelvin Inspires
Ep 45 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with Kelvin Uchemefune Certified John C. Maxwell Leadership Trainer and Speaker.
We had a great conversation about Kelvin’s journey into leadership and as his brand clearly states... Kelvin Inspires!
This conversation will inspire you to develop the leader within you.
Two things stood out for me.
1. Everybody communicates but few connect.
2. Your impact is in direct proportion to your ability to lead.
I’d love to know what this talk inspires in you?
How will this help you be better than yesterday?
Head to the podcast | YouTube | Facebook for the full interview.

How Not to Lead - Lessons from Band of Brothers Ep1
Last night I revisited one of my favourite TV series Band of Brothers. I've learned a lot about leadership since I first watched it years ago.
It was incredible to watch the leadership style of David Schwimmer's character Captain Herbert Sobel.
In this short podcast I share my thoughts on why his leadership was soo poor that led people in his command refusing to follow him into war and what I think he could have done differently to get the best out of those around him.
I also know that Major Winters is the real true leader and can't wait to learn and be inspired by him in the up and coming episodes.
Love to know your thoughts!

Interview Sessions Ep 44 with Jeff Jackson
Ep 44 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with Jeff Jackson co-founder of Depression2Extinction
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and this is something that Coach JJ is making his mission. To beak the stigma of depression to raise emotional awareness.
It was such a powerful, raw and inspiring conversation.
Coach JJ and the D2E team really are making a difference to people’s lives across the world. Their BeReal check in process is something that has be shown to help a lot.
Coach JJ describes himself as a train wreck of a human. I couldn’t believe the brutality of this. He’s turned his trauma into purpose and is doing wonderful things. Be sure to check out D2E at depression2extinction.org and see the full interview on Facebook | YouTube | Podcast.
If you know someone struggling or maybe you’re having a tough time, take some time out of your day and watch / listen to this interview.
I hope it inspires you to do something that makes your life that little bit better.
Much love

Interview Sessions Ep 43 with Dan Thomas
Ep 43 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with Dan Thomas founder of HeadStrong Mentality
The ABTY community absolutely loved Dan, and it wasn’t because he came on topless. It was because he was real, honest, raw and gave some great insight developing a mindset to manage and overcome anxiety.
We talked about how Headstrong Mentality came to be and that it’s all about helping you be the best you.
It was also great to hear about how #CrossFit has become a big part of his life, having a community of likeminded positive people challenge and support him be even better. Sound familiar?
Dan’s take on what it means to be ABTY is to focus on being 1% better everyday. One more rep. A little heavier. And to celebrate your wins!
This was one of the most engaged sessions so far. Head to Facebook | YouTube | Podcast to find out why.
Also, it’s very powerful and there will be someone in your network who needs to hear it. Please share it with them.
Much love
