If you want to enjoy yourself more and get more out of your day to day life? Start doing your best work. No matter how dreadful the task, bring your A-game to it. Pretend f or a moment that you don’t have to do it, you get to do it. Practice not checking your phone when you get an alert. See how long you can go without picking it up after you receive a notification. Specify certain times to check and respond to emails. Turn on do not disturb mode when you need breaks and on off hours. Day 141 || Decenter Yourself
Decentering yourself from conversations will take practice, especially if it’s an unconscious habit. There is nothing wrong with you if you do this, but it is something to be aware of in your conversations. Start to recognize your patterns and practice grounding exercises to better manage your impulses in your responses. If you have an uncomfortable feeling or emotion come up, allow it to flow through you and observe it, but don’t deflect.
