The Product Boss with Jacqueline Snyder
Jacqueline Snyder
The Product Boss is real business education for people who make and sell physical products.
If you’re working way too hard for the sales you’re getting, you’re in the right place. This show is about building a focused, profitable product business that gets seen and sells consistently, without sacrificing your life to it.
Hosted by Jacqueline Snyder, founder of The Product Boss and one of the country’s most sought-after product experts (featured in Inc., Forbes, NBC News, Yahoo Finance, and more), each episode delivers clear strategy you can actually use. You’ll hear workshop-style teaching and behind-the-scenes advising conversations that help you make better decisions, faster.
Whether you sell on your website, at markets, wholesale (including Faire), in boutiques, or through platforms like Shopify, Etsy, and Amazon, the strategy here works across channels. We talk best sellers and what you’re known for, pricing for profit, visibility beyond social media, conversion, inventory planning, seasonal strategy, and the systems that stop you from doing everything yourself.
You’ll also get Mirror Method and mindset episodes, because your business will always reveal what needs to grow next: confidence, consistency, boundaries, leadership, and the courage to be seen.
Guests have included Jenna Kutcher, Jamie Kern Lima, Jasmine Star, David Meltzer, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann (OPI), Mike Michalowicz (Profit First), Joy Cho, Jaclyn Johnson, Kelly Roach, and more.
New episodes drop weekly on Thursdays.

How's it going? Chances are there's probably a lot of change happening in your life. This sense of overwhelm and the topic of changes came up in our mastermind and Minna was reminded of a time when her family was going through a trauma/crisis almost five years ago and she was referred to the Kübler-Ross Model. We go over the stages with you in the episode today and how to utilize this process in order to understand your own reactions and emotions during this time of social distancing, a pandemic and a huge change in your life. We talk about what we are seeing in our own product entrepreneur communities and how to approach these unprecedented times and what we are doing as fellow small business owners in response and preparation for COVID-19.Center for Disease Control and Prevention: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)Ok....we know...you have received SO...MANY...MESSAGES...about Covid-19 (Coronavirus) in the last 24-hrs. And yes here is another one...but this one is different. We have been trying to figure out how to be helpful to our community and listeners over the past ten days. In fact, we recorded a full podcast last Tuesday on how to prep for the Coronavirus...and then decided against airing it because we were concerned we would create unfounded concern. Cut to ten days later and the world has changed. In the last two days we have had five+ hours of coaching sessions with our students and masterminders and the same question arose..."What do I do about my business during this pandemic?"Great Question! Here is our answer...DON'T STOP WORKING ON YOUR BUSINESS!!!Even if you start to feel that urge to pull back or spin out we want to remind you that this too will pass. This is temporary. How can you make your product relevant for this current situation? Can you lean into your Best Sellers?....NOW IS THE TIME.Here are some ideas...Sell kids toys: Send an email about your toys and how to use them to keep kids busy while schools are closed.Sell candles: Send an email about how to relieve stress or make home more comfortable during times like these with your specialty scents.Remember you can create relevant and helpful content via email, create blogs, Pinterest Posts, Instagram, share it everywhere. We are by no means trying to be insensitive to the current situation...Jacqueline lives just outside NYC and her husband, a Broadway actor, is out of work for the next 4 weeks due to theaters being closed. $h!t is getting real.....But our job for you...our community..is to help guide you during times like these.
