GarageBand is killing me! Could this Africa originated app be the best audio software on the market?

Get Noticed! Send a text.Hindenburg Systems was born 2008. In Lusaka, Zambia. 'It was a warm evening and pitch dark'...even the story made me want to try this audio editing software as I am desperate to find a podcasters alternative to GarageBand and yes, forgive me Audacity. Having downloaded the neat dmg I am already finding the tonal qualities of  Hindenburg audio with automatic levels sounds warmer, and don't get me started on how neat the user interface is and the time-saving editing functionality. I am so excited I had to just upload this teaser today so that I can get on with enjoying this digital audio workstation. Covid is bad enough without powerpoint too. The tonic is animated videos and here's the treatment.

Get Noticed! Send a text.On this episode I share my experience using Doodly, and alternative to Videoscribe, for making presentations for the SPEAKPR.co mastermind. I can't always give the presentation when the participants want to watch it, and powerpoint is deathly even with the voice over from using loom or camtasia. Explainer videos look like a very cost-effective alternative and the user experience so far is good. I'll explain how it works, key features and pricing. If you like this podcast, then subscribe to our newsletter herePlease visit our blog post on PR for business please visit our site:https://www.eastwestpr.com/blogs/ Support the showSubscribe to my free newsletterhttps://www.theunnoticedentrepreneur.com/

8 seconds is all you have, so learn to pitch from this crocodile wrestler.

Get Noticed! Send a text.He is a crocodile wrestler, which is what he says being the father of twins under three feels like , and when he's not doing that he's helping founders to refine their pitch.  Martin Barnes of Eightsecondstoconnect shares how founders can develop their brand story and why that's so important in building connections with an audience, especially when raising money. Martin also shares about a new product which has a name that is ridiculous even by the standards of Silicon Valley — it’s called Mmhmm and offers a variety of still and animated virtual backgrounds to enliven your conversations when giving your pitch. If you like this podcast, then subscribe to our newsletter herePlease visit our blog post on PR for business please visit our site:https://www.eastwestpr.com/blogs/ Support the showSubscribe to my free newsletterhttps://www.theunnoticedentrepreneur.com/

Is writing holding you back? These AI apps will solve your problem in less than 3 minutes.

Get Noticed! Send a text.Writing articles is time consuming and not easy, so most companies fail to produce enough of them but AI apps like the ones I profile today are really able to generate copy which needs next to no editing to be fit to publish on blogs, social media and even sent to publishers with a minimum of editing. I share my experience and read a snippet of a 994-word article produced in under 3 mins by the site AI-Writer and I also introduce Zyro which will produce AI-generated blog headlines, articles, business names and more. Both of these are available at less than $20 per month for enough content for even a large company. The savings in terms of time and money are amazing and now the quality really means this content could be used in public relations and as it is already SEO friendly, will save an extra job for the marketing team.If you like this podcast, then subscribe to our newsletter herePlease visit our blog post on PR for business please visit our site:https://www.eastwestpr.com/blogs/ Support the showSubscribe to my free newsletterhttps://www.theunnoticedentrepreneur.com/

When you should use the Picture Superiority Effect for your Public Relations campaign.

Get Noticed! Send a text.If you are not using graphics, and infographics, you could be missing out on a massive part of your audience. This is because 90% of information transmitted to the brain is visual, our brains process visual information 60,000x faster than text (amazing but true), all explained as the Picture Superiority Effect in 1971.  As a result, we need to use pictures in Pr all the time. Infographics, for example,  are 30x more likely to be read than text articles. I share with how I am making an infographic using Canva.com but there are other great sites like Visme too which have masses of templates, tools, images, and even courses. I am not a designer but the opportunity to capture 90% of the attention of my audience means that I am experimenting with design and it's both fun and cost-effective.Support the showSubscribe to my free newsletterhttps://www.theunnoticedentrepreneur.com/

How to stop being ignored online after 7 seconds using personalization at scale on your website.

Get Noticed! Send a text. The attention span of people on the internet is very short, and only getting shorter. Humans are used to getting instant gratification. And... If your website visitors don’t understand your brand’s story at first glance, they will bounce. The result? On average, only 2% of website visitors turn into customers. That’s a pretty bad number. So, how can we fix this problem? Face-to-face, human sales reps are much better at converting leads into customers than your website. Why? Because they use their intuition and empathy to make your brand’s story relevant to each prospect. It would be great to emulate this behaviour on your site, but how do you do it at scale? Sander Nagtegaal, CEO of Unless, talks with me about they use machine empathy to figure out how is sitting in front of the keyboard. Their solution is being used in COVID news situations and many other applications, and you'll be surprised how affordable unless.com is starting at Monthly subscription of €599 per month.Sander also offers 3 months FREE TRIAL to you as a SPEAK|pr listener.
