Jammin' With Joe - Ep. 12
Joe bought a Peleton and we get into what a huge pile of boogey douche he's become because of it....the end.
Just kidding.
Kinda.
We more or less breakdown the attraction behind Peleton, their recent marketing misfire that caught them some serious negative PR and the brilliance of Elon Musk's Cyber Truck debut.

An Interview With A Coach That Quit My Gym When I Rebranded
Shannon Kennedy is a badass female, amazing gymnastics coach, a good friend and FORMER employee of CrossFit SouthEnd.
The title of this podcast is def. riding the clickbait wave but not really.
Shannon ran the gymnastics program at CFSE and when we made our move to rebrand to Urban MVMNT, specialty classes like Olympic Weightlifting, gymnastics, endurance, etc were not a part of that vision.
So all the SME coaches went buh-bye.
In most cases, this becomes a dramatic exit and dissolution of friendships and certainly business relationships.
But not this one.
Shannon and I have maintained a great relationship over the years that is filled with mutual respect and an appreciation to learn from each other.
We get deep into the concept of overtraining as an athlete and the negative side effects that the competitive atmosphere of training can bring.
I think you're gonna really like this interview!

You're Expecting Too Much From Your B2B Vendors
"So Stu, I started working with a new website guy"
"Awesome! How's it going?"
"Well, it's OK I guess...but his website isn't getting me any leads"
"You realize websites aren't designed to get you leads, right???"
"I just figured he'd be able to also help me with some ads and offers and stuff, ya know"
"What I know is that you're fucking retarded...sit down, we need to talk"

Starting Off With Creating Content
A growing majority of individuals I speak with are very, very new to the content game.
Like the don't even mess with social media themselves, personally - let alone from a business standpoint.
So I figured this podcast would be beneficial to anyone who is having a hard time getting started with content creation.

I Like Movements That Are Simple, Yet Effective
I've had some microgym owners reach out about what exactly we've changed regarding the movement selection we prescribe at Urban MVMNT so I figured I'd share a bit.

You Can't Make Referrals Happen You Stupid Fuck
Please
Be that microgym owner that send me the DM that reads
"Hey Stu, how can I make my clients refer me to more of their friends? I tried raffling off a pair of shoes, but it didn't work!"
My response:
Your mother should have had an abortion.
But she didn't...so shut the fuck up...sit down and let's get learned.
