Perception is everything in business. You want people to be able to look at you and your brand, and feel a connection. When a customer feels they know you, what you stand for, and even who you are on a personal level, they will want to be loyal to you. It's often times scary for us to put ourselves out there. There is an interesting thing that happens when it comes to labeling people with their "potential". Some people think they are reaching their full potential, but if you're like me you feel like you're not there yet. When we say someone has a lot of potential that can cause them to stop in their tracks, and think they are already enough. Some people feel like if they make a change in life they'll lose their potential and be starting over. Others feel like they need to do everything they can to fully reach their potential - yet it's always just out of reach. To be honest, your mindset means more than your potential. 374: Jarie Bolander - The Culture of Entrepreneurs
Being an entrepreneur can often feel like a life or death situation. You make feel awkward, uncomfortable and nervous. Believe it or not, these are all strengths. To stay on top you need to stay hungry. You need to feel worried your life will sink, because if you become complacent someone else will come along and take over the space. The most important thing to keep in mind is that you don't have to be the first out of the gate. Just because you aren't the first person to do something doesn't mean you have any less of a chance of success.
