When you work in any type of sales, you tend to deal with a lot of rejection. There are ups and downs and sometimes you just get lost in the shuffle. Many entrepreneurs get stuck in a maze leads that will never pay for their services or get stuck dealing with people who have a 'loser' mindset. The good news is that ALL of this can be solved. We need to be strengthening our money mindset daily - one way is to surround ourselves with people who know that hard work equals results. There is an abundant amount of money out there, and as entrepreneurs we have the ability to earn as much as we want. (3:30) "There are gonna be winners, there are going to be losers, and again I mean that in the nicest way possible. You have to decide what mindset are you going to take on. Are you going to take on the money mindset that there is an unbelievable, over abundance of wealth everywhere? It's your job to go after it and make it yours!" She is explaining why, in this technology filled world, we need to pay more attention to HOW people are viewing our content. It isn't on a desktop anymore, it's all on the go… aka on mobile. Some of Francesca's shared tips include to create banners and graphics built for mobile, to always be thinking of the next picture you could snap for Instagram, and to be confident in the content you are putting out. USR 309: How to Audit Your Brand
2018 is just around the corner, and with that comes a few opportunities for your business. It could be time to set new goals, or create new strategies. It might also be time to audit your current branding. I recommend that you set some time aside, even if it is just a few hours, to really think about what your brand stands for and how it represents you. One of the biggest complaints I hear from business owners is that they aren't getting the QUALITY they are looking for in regards to incoming leads. We need to start paying more attention to the correlation between the people we attract and how we present ourselves. In this episode, you will learn how to do a brand audit and attract higher-quality leads — your business deserves it! (1:10) "Sometimes we are so close to our businesses that we don't even see there is a direct correlation in how we present and the people we attract. Over the past few years, the business space has made a few shifts. Everyone has moved online or has moved into some type of online platform. Our branding, image, and photography have become CRUCIAL -- and is a key player in how our audience relates to us. In this episode we are talking to photographer (and client!) Mike Lloyd. Mike shares that it's about finding the right photographer for not only you but your brand. If you want your brand to be represented in a powerful way that breaks through the white noise of the online space, having great images is key. A great photographer can help you do so. (4:02) "The photography is the visual representation of your business philosophy, your values, the message you are trying to get across so there needs to be a consistent theme. A lot of my work is very colorful, very epic, cinematic but if that's not your brand then maybe i'm not the best photographer for you. Expense is something you are going to spend that you will never see again. Investment is something you put money in that will come back to you and in theory you will end up with more money than you had before the investment. USR 306: Reversing Negative Programing Around Risk
We grew up in a complicated world where we were told failure was not an option. Whatever we learned in school, we would just memorize it and then regurgitate it back out on paper. If we failed to do that? We were hit with that terrorizing letter "F". In today's episode I want to reverse the negative mindset we have around taking risks and possibly failing. What we need to do is look at risk as a chance for teachable moments -- it's just as important to know what doesn't work as well as what does. Knowledge of both will help you to move forward in achieving your goals. (3:18) "There is a reason why we have this aversion to risk. It's because we grew up in a certain in a society where we take a test and we are expected to regurgitate back a specific set of information and if we don't do that in the exact form or in the right composition….that we fail." (6:24) "You've be taught for many many many years of your life how bad it was to do so [fail]. It's natural for all us to not want to fail and that feeling of not wanting to fail is our protection is our coping mechanism. It's natural and you have been programmed that way" (9:08) "For me, I have learned over and over again that it is only through exposing yourself to risk that you can truly make those big leaps forward. It's only in trying something big and really going for it that you are going to accomplish greatness." USR 305: Can You Spare 2 Minutes To Give Thanks
Day 1 of the gratitude challenge starts now! Give me a show of hands: how many people have tried meditation? Maybe some have, but I'm sure many of you haven't. But I want to challenge you to try something out of your comfort zone. It only takes 2 minutes, so you can do it right when you wake up in the morning and right when you fall asleep at night. Sit there and think of all the things you are grateful for. Take that moment and really reflex. It's the little things in life we forget to acknowledge and be GRATEFUL for. Getting help at home is one strategy that can give you time back in the day to focus on your business' growth -- and remove some of the stress around a pile of undone 'tasks.' It can be laundry, shopping, cleaning... it doesn't matter what you need help with. There are people who can help you out by getting it done.
