In week two of our “On Map on Mission” series, Pastor Kevin gave us an anecdote to picture the people closest to us in our lives – those who would be sitting in the front row if we were to gather everyone in an auditorium. Our “oikos” refers to the people who God has placed in our lives with whom we have the opportunity to share God’s love. In this message, Pastor Kevin uses Scripture from Luke 8 as a reminder that God has a plan to our lives to significantly impact those around us for the Gospel. How are you living on mission where God has placed you on the map?

In week one of our new “On Map on Mission” series, Pastor Kevin shares scripture from Matthew 28. The Great Commission tells us to make disciples of all nations. Doing that starts with sharing your love for Christ with those around you. Who are the people God placed in your life who could be your mission?

In week three of “Divine Hospitality” guest speaker, David Nasser, taught us the kind of hospitality that Christians are called to share to the world. Divine hospitality means loving the outsider and making space for the stranger,  The end goal of divine hospitality is to seek and save the lost – David shares stories of people accomplishing the Great Commission through displaying divine hospitality. How can you use divine hospitality to share Christ’s love?

In week two of our Divine Hospitality series, guest speaker David Nasser shares some of the Bible’s 59 commands for the Believer about how to approach one another. One of those commands is mentioned in 1 Peter. This Scripture reminds us to “love one another”, even when we don’t see eye to eye. How are you showing hospitality to those who are different than you?

When you think of hospitality, does God come to mind? In our new “Divine Hospitality” series, Pastor Kevin shares how Jesus showed hospitality in John 6. Jesus fed 5,000 people with only five small loaves of bread and two fish. Those people may have been physically hungry, but they were spiritually hungry too. God wants to feed those hungry hearts by giving eternal life.

In week four of our “Awaken” series, Pastor Kevin encourages us to not let life pass us by without fully waking up. In John 11, Lazarus has a literal awakening when Jesus raises him from the death to life. This story shows us that God allows painful events to let others see His glory. Where do you need to wake up to what God has for you in your life?

In week three of our “Awaken” series, Pastor Kevin shares the story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at a well in John 4. Jesus knew her sins and could satisfy her thirsty heart more than the water she was trying to get – the kind of water He offers is living water, that doesn’t leave us thirsty.

In week two of our “Awaken” series, Pastor James shares the story of the woman who was desperate for a miracle in Luke 8:42. After bleeding for 12 years, she knew that no one but Jesus could heal her. This passage shows us there is no shame in reaching out to Jesus for help. Do you trust Jesus enough to reach out to Him?

In week one of our new Awaken series, Pastor Kevin shares Nathanial’s story from the book of John. We may be physically awake, but we can still fall asleep spiritually. The good news is that God will use circumstances to wake us up. Other people, His Word and prayer can help too. How can you pray for God to wake you up this month?  

In the last week of our “Momentum” series, Pastor Kevin shares how God called Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. It’s a reminder that no matter how big the call, God has prepared you for it. What has God called you to do?
