In the final week of our series “The Sounding Joy”, Pastor Kevin wrapped up our study of Philippians where we’ve been learning how to maximize joy no matter our situation. In this message, Pastor Kevin reminds us that our gladness is not a reflection of our circumstances – rather, we have a choice in whether we live joyful lives, and that choice starts by choosing to rejoice!

In week three of “The Sounding Joy” series, Annie F. Downs shares that joy is a gift, fruit, tool and weapon. Having it starts with repetition. Is what you are repeating in your life adding to your joy or dulling your joy?

In week two of “The Sounding Joy”, Pastor Kevin unpacks part of Philippians addressing the desire for more joy in our lives. When you make a choice to follow Jesus and become a Christian, God is with you, and He’s always glad to be with you. His grace, and the peace of Jesus, brings the maximum amount of joy that we can experience in this life — regardless of circumstances.

Now that it’s December, there’s extra pressure to feel joy over the holidays. It doesn’t have to be that way! In week one of our series “The Sounding Joy,” Pastor James uses Philippians 1 to look at ways to have joy, even during difficult circumstances. 

As we wrap up “The Greater Good” series, Pastor Kevin breaks down scripture from Titus 3 on serving others. When you love people who can’t do anything for you, that’s when God shows up. If we see a need, we need to take the lead to live a life that’s productive for His Kingdom.
