The University of Life & Abby Wynne
Abby Wynne is a bestselling author and healer who blends Shamanism, Psychotherapy and Energy Healing to create a unique way of working which she offers to the world through her books and online programmes. Our conversation essentially brought together and simplified the key learnings I've taken from this year and especially since the covid lockdown kicked in to effect. At the crossover where science and spirituality meet, Abby has fine tuned the art of delivering insights in areas that could be seen as far fetched and impossible and making them understood, relatable and immediately actionable in your life. This is the type of conversation that you could hear on repeat and find new nuggets of wisdom within each time. She articulates herself with clarity, wisdom and powerful insights that people from all walks of life could gain something from. I took so much from this conversation, so much so that it left me in awe and a little speechless at times within the podcast. The University of Life & Natasha Vavasour
If you've been introduced to cacao recently chances are its because of this woman, Natasha Vavasour. Natasha is a passionate free thinking woman, she let me know that she "thinks podcasts are a load of waffle" before we even got started. No pressure. She has a deep love and understanding for the sacred seed of wisdom within us all and is a huge advocate for women’s innate power.A mother of three and an enthusiast for living in deep connection to our earth and the natural world around us, Natasha facilitates cacao ceremonies as a vibrational medicine for everyone to experience first hand. We talked first about storytelling and how important it is to have in our lives, this very strangely moved into a conversation all about holistic birthing and her work as a Doula (which I had no idea about), not quite what I was expecting but an area I'm so interested to learn more about and so I found this fascinating. Naturally the conversation then flowed into her journey to where she is now, her own experiences in becoming a mum, and how cacao came to her. If she were to listen back through this herself I certainly don't think she'd consider it "a load of waffle. There is so much in this for everyone on so many levels. The University of Life & Sinead Bailey Kelly
Sinead Bailey Kelly is one half of H&G Creations and if you know anything about them as a business, you'd understand why I was so excited to have this chat together with her. H&G Creations create some of the most special, intimate and heartfelt events I've ever been to. We chatted and chatted, hard to keep to my normal structure in this one but for anyone in the events industry or interested in the space I think you'll take a lot from it. We talked all about how as an events company they've navigated through the covid lockdown where everything had to be cancelled, we talked about their upcoming boutique weekend festival for 100 people and her advice for anyone interested in the space. We tracked her story to how she got to where she is, some of the best advice and key lessons she's learned along the way.I'm delighted to share this piece with you. The University of Life & Sean Treacy
At 16 Sean Treacy is Ireland's young filmmaker of the year for two years running and internationally recognised as one of the most exciting talents emerging in this world. We talked all about youtube and the content creation space, what works, what doesn't and his tips for success on the platform. This advice centred on creating from an authentic heartfelt space with real purpose and depth. We traced his roots to find the inspiration that set him on his course and filled him with such interest and purpose. I have to say, sitting in front of him that it was impossible not to envy and admire his passion for what he does and the energy that's radiating out of him. It's beautiful and truly inspiring.Maybe we forget what this passion and purpose actually looks and feels like, but when it's sitting bang in front of you it's a real wake up call, I walked away from our chat together shook if I'm honest. Shook and inspired to go deeper.I really hope you enjoy this, please do let me know your feedback either via instagram or my site and if you want to connect in with him from here, you can find him via: https://www.instagram.com/stellarseanSupport the showIf ever you'd like to connect, please don't hesitate to connect via my website www.jamiewhite.com. The University of Life & Dr. Fionnula McHale
Dr. Fionnula McHale is a medical doctor who practices functional medicine. She's predominantly working with people suffering from chronic illnesses and peak performance athletes and individuals. We journeyed deep into her area of expertise and discussed some simple life hacks that make a big impact in terms of addressing health issues and developing peak performance. We then went into her own journey to where she is today, the challenges she's had, what she learned from these and how she navigated through. From an entrepreneurial perspective, if you want to perform at your best and optimally deal with the challenges you'll inevitably have to face along your way, you have to learn to work with your body. You are your most important asset. If you don't fully appreciate this you'll burn out and that'll grind your ambitions to a halt but if you do get on top of yourself, you might realise a whole greater level of strength, balance and energy that you never knew was there. This is a big area of interest for me and I took a lot from this conversation. I think very highly of Fionnula and so I'm delighted to introduce her to you and share her insight and expertise.I really hope you get value from this, please do let me know your feedback either via Instagram or my site and if you want to connect in with her from here, you can find her via: https://www.instagram.com/drfionnulaSupport the showIf ever you'd like to connect, please don't hesitate to connect via my website www.jamiewhite.com. The University of Life & Darren Kennedy
Darren is a TV host and entrepreneur. He's someone that radiates good energy, positivity and confidence. He's exceptionally stylish, loves his dog, his cocktails and has his own male cosmetics business. In this conversation, we talked all about self-love and authentic living very much in relation to coming out and the associated challenges at a young age. We talked through this, how he navigated through them himself and all about the ultimate value one gets from persevering through these. It's a conversation I really took so much from and so I'm delighted to share it with you. From an entrepreneurial perspective, it's fascinating also to see how Darren's career essentially sings from his heart. It's very much built from a place of this self-love that we talked about and flows from there. Everything he does is so aligned with who he. This for me, is something I really appreciate and think we can all learn so much from. It's pretty much my definition of professional success. I really hope you enjoy this, please do let me know your feedback either via Instagram or my site and if you want to connect in with him from here, you can find him via https://www.instagram.com/darrenkennedyofficial/Support the showIf ever you'd like to connect, please don't hesitate to connect via my website www.jamiewhite.com. The University of Life & Daragh Stewart
Darragh is a scientist who's especially interested in psychedelics and specialises in that space. He's also the co-founder of Inward Bound who hosts psychedelic retreats in the Netherlands. The world of psychedelics from a self-discovery and optimization basis is something that I am absolutely fascinated with. I really believe they can be extremely beneficial when used in a respectful and disciplined manner. From an entrepreneurial perspective, I really believe this is a space that's going to grow and grow and its also really on the edge of "what's okay" so I'm very interested to hear how he got into it, what challenges he's faced and lessons learned. This is a real jump into the psychedelics world, there's a lot in this. It's a conversation I really enjoyed and took so much from and so I'm delighted to share it with you. The University of Life & Becca Gillen
Becca Gillen is a mindset coach with an incredible online following. She's built a life for herself that's very much in sync and in complement to who she is and what she loves doing. She's fun, happy and full of chat. This is something that sadly so few of us achieve, for whatever reasons we settle and so I really wanted to explore her journey to where she is with her, what she learned along the way and what can be taken from it. The conversation flows from her school days to where she is now and very much centres around a theme of giving things a go, trialing, experimenting, following your heart and never settling. She's very open, honest, transparent and vulnerable. I took a lot from our conversation together and found her journey, and perspective on things really inspiring. Enjoy the podcast and if you want to connect in with her from here, you can find her via: https://www.instagram.com/beccagillen/Support the showIf ever you'd like to connect, please don't hesitate to connect via my website www.jamiewhite.com.
