The University of Life & Joe O’Brien

Joe is a health psychologist who's especially interested in behavioural change. As someone who's obsessed with making little changes for the better all the time, this is a conversation I'd been dying to have and I am delighted to share with you. We talked all about therapy from a self optimizing perspective. An area I'm fascinated in and one that keeps coming up in the work I'm doing with business leaders, the secret weapon they all seem to have is an excellent retained relationship with a psychotherapist. Napoleon Bonaparte said if best “if you build an army of 100 lions and their leader is a dog, in any fight, the lions will die like a dog. BUT if you build an army of 100 dogs and their leader is a lion, all dogs will fight like a lion.” and so in business, if you want to get the most from your team and those around you, you have to double down and get the most from yourself first. There's so much more in this too. Similar to my last podcast with Will, we could have talked for hours longer. This was such a good conversation and one that I took so much from. I'm delighted to share it with you and hopefully we'll get to connect again and explore / share more. The University of Life & Will Meara

Will is a good friend and a fascinating guy. Very hard to introduce as he does so much, you'll understand as you listen through. This conversation centres around his business Bingo Loco, his travel, all that he's learned along the way and what he might do differently if he got to do things all over again. From an entrepreneurial perspective, I found it fascinating. The work he's doing now with Bingo Loco is exceptional. I wanted to learn more about his travels, what he learned while he was away and how he capitalised on those lessons since he returned. We could have talked for hours longer, I feel like I only really scraped the surface and that there was so much more we could have gone in to but enjoy the podcast for what it is and if you want to connect in with him from here, you can find him via https://www.instagram.com/willmeara.loco/Support the showIf ever you'd like to connect, please don't hesitate to connect via my website www.jamiewhite.com.
