Send us Fan MailIn the team room this week on the Ones Ready podcast the guys discuss some of the misconceptions they had prior to joining as well as some misconceptions that come from questions about AFSPECWAR.  Most people think that every day SOF is out kicking in doors, jumping from planes, riding dirt bikes, and blowing shit up!  Although these things happen often, they are not happening every day.  There are days where required military training has to occur or medical appointments.  In order to train effectively, the training must be planned well to figure out the logistics required to accomplish said training.  This training can't be planned well when all you're doing is cool guy shit!  Please enjoy the episode and give us your feedback. Send us Fan MailOn this week's episode the Ones Ready team sits down with Gavin Fisher.  Gavin Fisher is a Pararescueman that was Active Duty for several assignments and then decided to transition to a Rescue Unit in the USAF Reserves in Florida.  He spent time training and deploying at his first unit and Las Vegas and then was identified to go teach and pass on his knowledge to aspiring PJs, CCTs, and SR dudes.  Gavin provided some good insight from what he experiences from an instructor stand point at A&S.  He'll also discuss what his Active Duty to Reserve transition was like and the two different options; Palace Front and Palace Chase.
