EP85 - Cliff Pittman - A Conversation with Coach about my North Fork 50M Race
Last weekend, I raced the North Fork 50 mile race in Buffalo Creek, CO. It was a training race and I got it done, but I had some issues along the way. I thought it would be interesting for the listeners to listen in as I discussed the race with my coach, Cliff Pittman. Cliff Pittman has been a guest on the podcast before and he always brings lots of knowledge to the table. Listen in as we discuss what was good, what was bad, and what was ugly. EP84 - Kay Bretz - Turning Right - How a Paradigm Shift Unleashed His Potential
Oh man, this is a good one. Kay (Pronounced Kai) Bretz had a paradigm shift when he decided to turn right! Kay, author of the book “Turning Right” had a 22% improvement in his 24 hour time in just 18 months and set the course record by 5 hours on the 250km (155mile) Big Red Run! What was the difference? His mindset! It was really enlightening to unpack Kay’s experience and explore the benefit of reframing how we think about training, running, and life. So far he’s completed 29 hundos and shows no sign of stopping. This year, he’ll be attempting his second finish at the infamous Badwater 135! Show notes: http://www.theriot.run/arnold
