Overcoming Adversity with Empathy with ER Doctor Cameron Meyer! 064
Send us Fan MailWhat an incredible interview with Dr. Cameron Meyer. Dr. Meyer is an attending physician in the emergency room at the Fairfield Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is known as "The Jack Of All Trades" by people who know him. Be he just likes to help people when they need it the most, on what is usually one of the worst days for his patients. A few years ago, he was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, and was told that he had 5 years to live. But after grappling with the news, he pressed forward with more empathy for the people he serves, and is doing very well! He is such a kind and caring person, and we are so grateful to him, and all the healthcare workers out there helping us all when we need it the most!(Try not to find him, since he's in the ER, but just in case...) Mastering Endurance with Bestselling Professor Timothy Noakes! 061
Send us Fan MailProfessor Timothy Noakes shouldn't need much of an introduction! He is an OG in the world of health and fitness. He is a bestselling author of several books. Lore of Running was written in 1986, and is considered to be a bible for the sport! It has been revised several times, and he is working on a new revision as we speak! In total, he has written over 750 scientific books and articles. Yet, in 2014, one of his Tweets about a low-carb diet was targeted, and an intense legal battle ensued. After years in the courtroom, he was exonerated, and he can now speak the truth about human health. We chatted about his book Waterlogged: The Serious Problem of Overhydration in Endurance Sports, which is how I originally found his work. We are so grateful for Prof. Noakes and his career, and his willingness to fight for the truth!Find Prof. Tim Noakes at-thenoakesfoundation.orgFind Boundless Body at-myboundlessbody.comBook a session with us here!

Redefining Success with Ultramarathon Runner Prof. Ryan Chukuske! 057
Send us Fan MailProfessor Ryan Chukuske is helping us understand the true meaning of success! After he found running, he had some lofty goals, like say, run 100 miles..... at one time. And he decided to write a book about his experience. But he never finished the race, dropping out at mile 68. So why did he write the book? Sometimes our failures are our greatest teachers. And getting back up and trying again can lead to our greatest successes. Prof. Chukuske went on to run more races and wrote more books, including one about his experience at the Bigfoot 200, and all the people that make that event possible. Prof. Chukuske reminds us that it is the journey, not the destination, that is most important, and we are so grateful that he took the time to talk with us!Find Prof. Ryan Chukuske at-ryanchukuske.comFind Boundless Body at-myboundlessbody.comBook a session with us here!

Getting Angry with Bestselling Trainer Vinnie Tortorich! 055
Send us Fan MailWE WILL PAY YOU TO WATCH VINNIE TORTORICH'S FILMS. You heard that right. We will personally pay you to watch Fat: A Documentary, or Fat: A Documentary 2. Send me your Venmo, and I will pay you. That's how strongly I feel about these amazing films. Why is Vinnie angry? He's angry that the fitness world is screwing you over. He's angry that we embraced the ridiculous Food Pyramid in the '90's. He's angry that people are making money on lies. Vinnie isn't an angry person, in fact he's one of the most kind people we're met. But when big corporations take your time and money and lie to you, you better believe Vinnie is going to get mad. His bestselling book, Fitness Confidential: Adventures in the Weight Loss Game exposes the rampant shams in the health and fitness world. He has an incredible podcast that has over 1,770 episodes as of this podcast. And with almost 40 years of experience, he should know.
