3 Hacks to Become a Morning Person

Send us a text message if you have a question you want answered on the podcast. There is a ton of research that says waking up early is good for your health. In fact, a lot of the research says that if you can wake up and get the morning sunlight exposure it will help you regulate your sleep-wake cycle. This helps your body get in a rhythm of healthy sleep patterns. This morning sunlight has been proven to strengthen your immune system, reduce stress and support your mental health.I’m sure you have heard that quote from Benjamin Franklin that says, “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise?” So the new research is just a confirmation of what people have known for years.I too am a firm believer in being a morning person. But I haven’t always been. In fact, it was a years-long journey to become one myself but it has benefited my life in many ways. So this week I am sharing 3 things that I did to become a morning person. Meaningful Prayer Journalhttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/Prayer-JournalSeeking Personal Revelation Journalhttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/revelationYou might also enjoy these episodes from the LDS Mental Health PodcastEpisode 122: 4 Foundations to Stronger Mental Healthhttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/blog/122Episode 125: 3 Ways to Protect Yourself From Satan Dailyhttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/blog/125Check out what other resources are available from Nikihttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.comFollow Niki on social media for more free contenthttps://www.instagram.com/nikiolsencoaching/Grab your Skill Tap Band HEREwww.LDSMHco.com Fortify Your Mental Health FREE Mini Coursehttps://www.ldsmentalhealthco.com/FortifyRegistration

When things feel out of control in your life the response is often to cling tighter to controlling that thing. To maneuver it in a way that lessens anxiety. The funny thing is the more you try to control, the more the anxiety will increase. In this episode I am teaching you three ways you can actually let go of control AND lessen your anxiety in the process. The Anxiety Buster Bundlehttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/offers/XFk2XLuCSpiritual Survival Coursehttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/spiritual-survival-course-special-offerClarity in the Chaos Coursehttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/meditationConnection Coursehttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/connection-courseYou might also enjoy these episodes from the LDS Mental Health PodcastEpisode 122: 4 Foundations to Stronger Mental Healthhttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/blog/122Episode 119: 7 Sabotagers of Your Mental Health (Part 1)https://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/blog/119Check out what other resources are available from Nikihttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.comFollow Niki on social media for more free contenthttps://www.instagram.com/nikiolsencoaching/Grab your Skill Tap Band HEREwww.LDSMHco.com Fortify Your Mental Health FREE Mini Coursehttps://www.ldsmentalhealthco.com/FortifyRegistration

3 Ways to Protect Yourself From Satan Daily

Send us a text message if you have a question you want answered on the podcast. You may not know this, but I have a full time job working as a therapist on the Navajo Reservation. As part of this job, I consult with a Navajo traditional counselor frequently. In order to help create healing with not only western medicine, our behavioral health department also creates traditional healing with Navajo healers who perform ceremonies, teachings and specific prayers. Our traditional healer, Ernest Begay, has taught me so much about the Navajo teachings and every time I am so blown away at how closely they fit with the teachings of the gospel. One teaching that he is always pressing upon us as therapists is the concept of arrows being shot at us due to the nature of what we take on everyday.Join me today as I relate these traditional teachings to how you can avoid the onslaught of arrows in your life.Join the 30 Days to Stronger Mental Health Challengehttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/MentalHealthYou might also enjoy these episodes from the LDS Mental Health PodcastEpisode 122: 4 Foundations to Stronger Mental Healthhttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/blog/122Episode 112: 3 Things That Make Trials Worsehttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.com/blog/112Check out what other resources are available from Nikihttps://www.nikiolsencoaching.comFollow Niki on social media for more free contenthttps://www.instagram.com/nikiolsencoaching/Grab your Skill Tap Band HEREwww.LDSMHco.com Fortify Your Mental Health FREE Mini Coursehttps://www.ldsmentalhealthco.com/FortifyRegistration
