He had congenital heart issues. Born with a whole in his heart, at age 3 he had surgery to fix this. This then caused him more issues. Since 7, he has required pacemakers which have required surgeries throughout his life. He didn't want to go to Vinnie for medical advice -- but he realized to improve his health through his diet, Vinnie could help. Now, Craig is writing a book. It's a journal to his daughters. Craig had to take a leap of faith to have children because he feared his children would have the same issue. In 2013, he became unresponsive. His daughters couldn't wake him. As a result, his kids are pretty mature -- they grew up with a fragile dad. Craig and his daughters create memories and value the time they have together. Craig is doing well but living with heart issues is, of course, scary. TAKING CARE OF WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL On the keto diet, he lost 150 lbs in 10 months. He got off -- then he ran into more heart issues. After, he got back on track with NSNG. Jody Ross initially introduced him! He can still only walk 2 MPH, but he's getting healthier and stronger. Bill had been doing IF a bit prior to finding Vinnie. The two have been together for 12 years. When they began NSNG®, both were at their heaviest. Bill started, and about two months later, Kim came on. They started during COVID! While most people are gaining weight now, they started losing weight during the pandemic. Bill started at 240. He got down to 170 but didn't like how he looked. Now, he probably hovers between 175 and 180 at 6'1". In ten months, he got down to healthy. For many, it will take longer and THAT IS OKAY. Kim started around 143 at 5'4." Currently, she fluctuates between 113 and 115 lbs. She's a size zero! She feels confident in a bikini in her 50s. They made the decision. Do the best you can and stick with it. The two have found cooking at home makes it easier. KICKING THE DIET MENTALITY Vinnie does a lot of personal consults. He gets a lot of the same things from multiple people. Some people have lost a lot of weight, but now are stalling. They stay on NSNG® because they know it's working, but then they might get some misinformation. These people are serving too many kings (or trying to do too many things). Stay true to plain and simple NSNG®. Don't listen to the keto-bros online. No sugar (or fake sugar), no grains (and no grain-like foods). Don't switch back and forth between fads within this lifestyle -- like, don't briefly try IF and then calorie restriction the next week, etc. If you're feeling hunger pangs on NSNG®, you're probably not eating enough. First, you need to relax and stop the noise in your head. You need to get the diet mentality out of your head. Keep it simple. If you need to see a psychologist to get over food addiction or eating disorders, please do. Diets let you cheat -- don't "cheat" on this lifestyle. Hold yourself accountable, or get friends to do so with you. Or, you can call Vinnie to make sure you're staying on track. Sometimes, talking to someone else can be helpful. Go back to the basics.
