#267 Luke Tulloch

In this week's episode it was an absolute pleasure to catch up with this guest who I last spoke with in episode 122, as personal trainer with over 15 years experience and is now a trainer of trainers, Luke Tulloch. It was awesome to speak with Luke again as I have followed his content for some time and  agree with a lot of his thoughts and philosophies around training and coaching. In this episode we chatted about his transition to training other trainers, imposter syndrome, as well as what getting better at the basics actually looks like.  You can follow Luke via the following links: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_luketulloch/?hl=en   Website: https://www.luketulloch.com/            You can follow myself, Coach Cuthbert, via the following links: Website: https://www.coachcuthberttrainingsystems.co.uk/  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/coach_cuthbert/?hl=en  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/coachcuthbert/

#266 JM Blakley

In this week's episode I was joined by a man known for being the namesake of the JM Press, as well as a multiple world record holder and holding multiple degrees in strength and conditioning and physiology, JM Blakley. There is a lot of content and information about the training side of getting stronger, which is really useful. However, an area that a lot of lifters can struggle to progress is their mental strength. In this episode we chatted about goal setting and discipline and successful attributes to develop mental strength. #263 John Garafano

For this week's episode it was an absolute pleasure to be joined by a powerlifting coach working with Reactive Training Systems, John Garafano. I’ve followed John and Reactive Training Systems for some time now and the content and information they share is awesome. I also buy into their thoughts and philosophies around training and how to manage the lifter in front of you, rather than thinking of a one size fits all approach. Therefore, in this episode, we chatted about goal setting, common pitfalls lifters can fall into when setting goals, as well as managing the psychological side of training and competing. #261 John Noonan

In this week's Strength Chat I was joined by a strength and conditioning coach with over two decades of experience, coaching across multiple sports, John Noonan. As most coaches, John started out in some of the more popular sports, such as football and rugby. Later in his career, he then got opportunities in sports that aren’t necessarily as well known, such as winter and motor sports. However, the principles of coaching and making sure the athletes were ready for performance, still applied. Therefore, in this episode, we chatted about finding solutions, an all round approach to coaching, as well as learning from your mistakes.   You can follow John via the following links: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/johnnoonancoach/            Website: https://noonanperformance.com/            You can follow myself, Coach Cuthbert, via the following links: Website: https://www.coachcuthberttrainingsystems.co.uk/  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/coach_cuthbert/?hl=en  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/coachcuthbert/

#259 Nick Gloff

For this week's Strength Chat I was joined by coach, athlete, and mentor, Nick Gloff. I was lucky enough to catch Nick's presentation at the Kabuki Education Week and wanted to continue the conversation of the topics he covered. When it comes to hypertrophy, there is a lot of information on the training to build muscle, not necessarily how to keep that muscle. Therefore, in this episode, we chatted about how to create long lasting hypertrophy.  You can follow Nick via the following links: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nickgloff/?hl=en          Website: https://www.teamgloff.com/          You can follow myself, Coach Cuthbert, via the following links: Website: https://www.coachcuthberttrainingsystems.co.uk/  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/coach_cuthbert/?hl=en  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/coachcuthbert/

#258 Steve Tripp

In this week's episode it was an absolute pleasure to catch up with the man, the myth, the legend that is Steve Tripp. We last spoke back in Episode 224 which was a really popular episode and a chat I really enjoyed. Therefore, in this episode, we chatted about the training for strength versus hypertrophy as well as effort and intent when going into the gym.  You can follow Steve via the following links: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/strippcam/?hl=en           Website: https://www.thetopstrengthproject.com/         You can follow myself, Coach Cuthbert, via the following links: Website: https://www.coachcuthberttrainingsystems.co.uk/  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/coach_cuthbert/?hl=en  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/coachcuthbert/   Leave a 5* review: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/strength-chat/id1457822057
