Episode 426 - SDCC: Paranorman!

Jimmy sat down with the cast and creators of the upcoming stop motion animated feature Paranorman. Anna Kendrick, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Kodi Smit-McPhee provide some of the voices in the film and you hear them chat about their process and the excitement they had doing it. Christopher particularly comes across like a guy you want to have a beer with and Anna is really, really funny! Producer Arianne Knight and Production Designer Nelson Lowry talk about the design of the zombies and the craft of stop motion. Lead Animator/Producer Travis Knight, Director Sam Fell, and Writer/Director Chris Butler expand on the stop motion technique and why they used it. Episode 423 - SDCC Movie Special: Frankenweenie, Oz the Great and Powerful, Iron Man 3!

Jimmy covered the press conferences for Frankenweenie, Oz the Great and Powerful, and Iron Man 3 at San Diego Comic Con. Frankenweenie had director Tim Burton, executive producer Don Hahn, producer Allison Abbate and voice actor Atticus Shaffer. Jimmy manages to get a question in but Tim dances around it for some reason. Hmmm. Oz the Great and Powerful had director Sam Raimi, actresses Michelle Williams and Mila Kunis, and producer Joe Roth in attendance. Really great talk about the upcoming movie and its relation to Baum's original world. And Michelle Williams even answers the Dawson's Creek movie question! Finally, the Iron Man 3 press conference had stars Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle along with director Shane Black and producer Kevin Feige.
