#65 - Differential diagnosis of cervicogenic headaches & dizziness with Dr Julia Treleaven
In this episode, Dr Julia Treleaven covers how we might differentiate between cervicogenic headaches and dizziness. We then cover how to treat cervicogenic pain, headaches and dizziness using sensorimotor tasks that go beyond traditional physiotherapy. Julia is a Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Queensland. She has been researching neck pain since 2000 and in 2004 completed her PhD focusing on the influence of the neck on sensorimotor control. #64 - Return to play in long standing groin pain with Dr Stacey Hardin
In this episode we discuss Dr Stacey Hardin’s research review of a Delphi study on return to play in long standing adductor related groin pain. We discuss the definition of long standing adductor groin pain and then go into depth of the return to play indicators/tests e.g. strength, performance testing and sport specific skills. Stacey is a physical therapist and athletic trainer specialising in the treatment of high performing athletes, most recently in Major League Soccer.
