In this episode Juan and Kyrin discuss the topic of 'Stretching & Flexibility'. I think we can all agree that it is better to be more flexible (and mobile) rather than not, but what is the ideal amount? Obviously this is dependent on one's own circumstances but the Mere Mortals give some suggestions on how to find this limit. We also explore Kyrin's journey from starting yoga to being able to do the front splits and Juan's struggle to find motivation to do more stretching. For those who haven't read the book it is highly recommended by both Mere Mortals, touching upon themes of passion, perseverance, courage and destiny. The book also plays nicely into the theme of storytelling and Kyrin's recent interest in viewing life at different levels, one of those being to analyse everything through the lens of its story. In this episode Juan and Kyrin discuss the topic of 'Cryptocurrencies'. We almost touched upon this in our 'Money' episode, but chose to do a full topic on the relatively recent rise of this phenomenon. We first go through a history of the most well-known cryptocurrency, that being Bitcoin. After that there is a discussion of the good and bad aspects of cryptocurrencies and whether they will displace the current monetary system that exists.
