👉🏻 Our guest is Dr. Scott Newton, DPT, PT, OCS, CWS. Newton received his bachelor of science in physical therapy from the University of Tennessee at Memphis in 1991. In 1998, Newton founded Pulaski Ardmore Physical Therapy with his wife. In 1999, he received specialty certification as a Wound Care Specialist. In 2004, Scott received certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist by the APTA. In 2005, he received his doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Newton is a clinical associate with the American Academy of Wound Care Management and lectures on various topics pertaining to physical therapy and wound care. Dr. Newton is an adjunct instructor at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, and Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where he instructs on wound care. He has completed over 1,000 continuing education hours with an emphasis on orthopedics and wound care.

👉🏻 Our guest is Dr. Darshil Patel, PT, DPT, Cert MDT. Darshil received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. He has an extensive background in neurological and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Patel has practiced at the number 1 rehabilitation hospital in the US for the last 9 years. He has experience in Outpatient, Inpatient, and Day Rehab Settings. Darshil specializes in Spasticity, Spasms, Tone, Tremors, Ataxic, and Chronic pain. He is an expert in treating patients with neurological conditions including Stroke, Spinal Cord, Traumatic Brain Injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia, and Multiple Sclerosis. 👉🏻 Our guest is David Sheer, DPT, MOMT, FAAOMPT. David has been a practicing clinician for 42 years. He has specialized in manual therapy for the last 32 years earning a Masters’ Degree in Orthopedic Manual Therapy and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is a Founding Fellow in the AAOMPT. David has taught a variety of courses in manual therapy including clinical rationale, spinal and extremity techniques, exercise, nutrition, and the neuroscience of pain. These courses include extensive psychomotor training. David has been a clinical instructor for Belmont University and UT Memphis, has trained therapists in Masters’ Degree Residency programs, and has created and taught Certificate of Manual Therapy curriculums. David is currently a clinical educator and clinician with STAR Physical Therapy in Tennessee.

👉🏻 Our guest is Chris Wolfe PT, Cert MDT, OCS. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Freed-Hardeman University in 2004 and went on to complete his Masters in Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Georgia in December of 2006. Chris has advanced training in manual therapy and is a McKenzie Certified Therapist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of spinal and extremity disorders. He uses Selective Functional Movement Assessments (SFMA) and new wearable dorsaVi technology to provide the highest level of functional and clinical assessments to direct his skilled treatment options. Chris currently owns and runs his private practice in order to provide a niche clinical environment and customized treatment options in a one-on-one setting. He also serves as a guest lecturer and an adjunct professor in the Physical Therapy Department at Belmont University where he teaches in orthopedics and assists with clinical research projects. Chris has also pursued advanced training in treating the running athlete and multi-sport triathlete. He shares the same passion as many of his patients and clients. He is also a Boston Qualifier and an Ironman finisher and looks to continue with his endurance training and racing while assisting others to do the same as well.

Dr. Brian is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Mercer University Physical Therapy involved in the Orthopedic Residency and Manual Therapy Fellowship curriculum.
