One of the things we see is the reality that nothing travels faster than the speed of light, and that billions of light-years separate us from distant galaxies. In reality, however, it is irrational for skeptics to suppose that what cannot be seen does not exist. Christians and skeptics alike recognize black holes, electrons, laws of logic, and gravity even though all of these are unseen. As Paul wrote in his epistle to the Romans, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (Romans 1:20 NIV).
