It's hosted by Ed and Andrew from Opes Partners.
Ok, now for the legal bit. The Property Academy Podcast is for your general information. It’s not financial advice.
So the hosts aren’t telling you what to do with your own money. We’ve made every effort to make sure the information is accurate. But we occasionally get the odd fact wrong. Make sure you do your own research or talk to a financial adviser before making any investment decisions.

"Should I Buy My First Investment In Ngaruawahia?" – The Exact Process + Data Ed Looks At To See If It's a Good Idea⎜Ep. 622
In this episode, we discuss whether it's a good idea to buy your first home or an investment property in Ngaruawahia. Ed shows us the data he would look at (and where he got it from) to assess whether the town is worthy of a second look when it comes to investing.
We find that while Ngaruawahia has historically not had the best reputation, it stacks up much better when looking at the data. While poorer than neighbouring Hamilton, isn't significantly poorer. And while GDP growth in the whole area is sluggish, crime is also lower when you account for population.
