A horrible accident claimed the life of the son of Brother and Sister Wells. Heavenly Father allowed this boy to come through a thinning of the veil experience to his mother. However, in relating this experience in a meeting with the Quorum of the Twelve, President McKay teaches that we may be missing out on Thinning of the Veil experiences because we aren't prepared to receive them. When you are seeking to gather Israel, miracles can be found in many different places, including a local antique store. Several members of one family were found in an 1817 Bible, in an antique store on Main Street, Logan, Utah. In General Conference of October 2014, Elder Allan Packer, spoke about the needed requirements for eternal life, a spiritual passport of sorts. He teaches that Temple and Family History work gives those needed stamps in our passports not only to ourselves but to our ancestors. The Book of Life, The Book of Remembrance and The Book of the Generations, all are titles of the Book that the Savior and our Heavenly Father use to judge whether we are worthy of Eternal Life. As the world gets more and more wicked and Satan's power spreads across the globe, there is a compensatory power that the Lord offers to all His covenant keeping children.
