Wisconsin Certifies Biden's Win after Recount Trump Campaign Requested and Paid $3 Million For, Net's Biden 87 More Votes

The state of Wisconsin has certified President-elect Joe Biden's victory after President Donald Trump's campaign requested a recount. Monday, Governor Tony Evers signed paperwork to award the state's 10 electoral votes to the President-elect after a recount in Wisconsin's two most populous counties.  The recount that cost $3 million netted Biden 87 more votes than before. The state's commission chairwoman wrote in part, "Biden received the greatest number of votes."  Arizona also officially certified Biden's victory on Monday, awarding the President-elect the state's 11 electoral votes. The recounts follow President Donald Trump's false claims of voter fraud. He has not yet conceded the election and still claims he won. Top Republican leaders, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, still refuse to acknowledge Biden's Win.  Exclusive documents from inside China reveal what officials knew about the deadly Covid-19 pandemic. Biden: "We're At War With The Virus, Not With One Another"

United States President Donald Trump recently called into a Pennsylvania GOP event to rant about overturning the recent presidential election results and then invites lawmakers from the event to the White House Wednesday night. As Trump calls for overturning the election results, United States President-elect Joe Biden talks about a "grim season of division" giving way to unity.  Biden: We should "be thankful for democracy itself"; Trump: "We have to turn the election over." There are 162,000 new coronavirus cases so far today in the United States and hospitalizations break records for 15 straight days. Biden: "This Is Not A Third Obama Term"

United States President-elect Joe Biden is making it clear that his presidency will not be a "third Obama term." He made those statements in his first interview as president-elect with NBC's Lester Holt, Tuesday night. Biden went onto say that it's a different world since the Obama Administration and that President Donald Trump changed the landscape saying in part: "It's become America first. America Alone." The President-elect also formally announced new members of his National Security Team on Tuesday. His members include: John Kerry as Special Presidential Envoy for climate, Jake Sullivan as National Security Adviser and Avril Haines for Director of National Intelligence. Biden praised his nominees and their diverse backgrounds. Haines is a physicist and a pilot who also knows judo. The number of people dying from Covid-19 is rising. The climbing trend continued on Tuesday with 15 days of record hospitalizations and more than 1800 people reported dead. Dr. Anthony Fauci says he's had his first conversation with President-elect Biden's team. Biden says, the hope is that the Trump Administration will be able to start distributing the vaccine before Biden takes the oath of office in January. Millions of people are going against the CDC's guidelines and traveling for Thanksgiving. Biden: "Beyond Comprehension" That Trump Plays Golf During Pandemic

At the same time,  Trump continues to sow doubt on Georgia recount as he refuses to concede, while lawsuits have been withdrawn that tried to block Biden's wins in four states.
