We take your suggestions on when the online day of reckoning should happen, talk about the new Sam Hinkie long-read in Sports Illustrated, discuss the losses to the Cavs, Raptors and Magic, and the debut of the twin-towers lineup with Embiid and Okafor. Also we talk about the Sixers as compared to The Ship Of Theseus, thanks to Sean Carroll.

We recap the week in Sixers, including the double-overtime loss to the Grizzlies, the Embiid-less obliteration by the Bulls, the win over the Heat, and Robert Covington's sorta-break out of his slump. We also briefly preview the Cavs game, and take a ton of questions from Twitter.

Somehow, someway, Nik Stauskas is playing like a man possessed. Somehow, some way, Robert Covington has forgotten how to shoot. We those things, the win over the Wizards, the matchup with the Timberwolves, and the Sixers decision to rest Joel Embiid at home. 

For the first time in a few years, the Sixers won a game before December. To put that in perspective, the last time the Sixers won a game before December, that Sixers team had Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes on it. We do talk about the election for the first 45 or 46 minutes. It is spirited but we still love each other and you. You can skip past it if you've had enough. When we look back at where it started (in this context at least), we can whittle it down to this; Tony Wroten said it, Pablo Torre wrote it, we ran with it, Joel Embiid perfected it. It's been a long time coming, but we've finally got ESPN's Pablo Torre on the podcast to talk about his original Hinkie article, where it all went, and how awesome Joel Embiid is.

The season begins this week, and we look ahead and make our predictions for the 2016-17 Sixers. How long will Nerlens Noel be on the team? How much longer will everyone fight about it?
