We're coming to you live from Las Vegas Summer League! Well not live, it's a podcast, and we're not both at Summer League, but Mike is. We talk about the Furkan (00:00) the other Sixers performances so far (16:00), and Andrew Unterberger joins the podcast to talk about the final free agents and the overall state of the Sixers (39:00), the  Process Hall Of Fame in celebration of the Five Year Anniversary of The Ricky (56:00). We end the pod talking about Markelle Fultz (62:00).

Emergency pod! After a 48 hour frenzy that made it seem like the Sixers might get LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard, that particular dream ended tonight as James signed a four-year deal with the Lakers. Spike and Mike talk about the ramifications and Spike sort of lays into James.  As well, there's a before and after podcast (before LeBron signed and after) with Mike and his Lakers fan girlfriend Alyssa that is at the end of this pod. 

At midnight on Friday, the NBA Free Agency period will officially begin (sort of, you still can't sign anyone but they can talk and everyone will announce deals). We go through the available free agents and talk about the likelihood of them becoming Sixers, as well as the possible destinations for LeBron James. We discuss the strong reaction to Mike's CJ McCollum trade, and talk to Andrew Unterberger about his article about the Sixers doing nothing, and the five-year anniversary of The Ricky. Also, we banned someone from the pod. 

The Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes is on, and it seems like the Sixers are in the middle of it. We talk about prospective Kawhi trades and the likelihood he winds up in Philadelphia. Free agency starts on Saturday night, so we preview that, and discuss the most recent Markelle Fultz empty-gym videos. We also hit the Lorenzo Brown Mailbag. Sorry about this weekend. Spike's fault. 

The Sixers surprised us all by doing what everyone expected, picking Mikal Bridges. Then they did what not of us expected by trading Bridges to Phoenix for Zhaire Smith and a 2021 Miami Heat first round pick.  Then there was some trading, some picking, some more trading and then a little more picking. We recap the night!

Mike and guest host John Gonzalez talk about the state of the Sixers going into the draft, including why and how they still don't have a general manager. The huge question mark of Markelle Fultz is one that the Sixers must have some clarity on before they make their pick on Thursday. They weigh the pros and cons of moving up, and potentially taking on the Chandler Parsons contract, as well as LeBron/Kawhi/Paul George dreaming. Also, BurnerGate gets revisited and of course some Hinkie talk.

Finally... Danny Chau is on the Ricky. The guy who wrote about Farewell Evan on Grantland when he was just an intern, and then became a valued member of the now disbanded Retweet Armageddon Congress, draft lover, Ringer employee and food guy Danny Chau joins us to talk about the upcoming NBA Draft and his adjacent relationship to Sixers fandom. We also discuss the new rumors about Kawhi Leonard and whether the Sixers can trade for him.
