It’s been one year since the Ringer published the article about Bryan Colangelo’s burner Twitter accounts that would later get him fired, only to be replaced by Elton Brand, who he once signed and is on the shirt. We look back at Burnergate one year later, talk about its lasting effects, every crazy detail we can remember, rank the burner accounts, and go over Colagelo’s Sixers resume. We also go around the league with Ish Smith and discuss the Finals, the Timberwolves front office and the Rockets fire sale. Finally, we end the podcast with a replay of our podcast from one year ago tonight. 

Joel Embiid did not make the first All_NBA team, and Kevin O’Connor made a play to get rebanned. We discuss those issues, and then Derek Bodner of The Athletic joined us to talk about this Sixers season, the team’s front office structure, whether the Sixers should bring back the same team, and what their options are if they don’t. The 2018-19 Sixers are but a memory now, and the biggest offseason of our lives (every one of them is) has begun. We take a look at how the season ended, and how we thought each player performed along with what we want to see from them next season (if they’re definitely on the team) and what we think the prospects are for their return in 2019-20. We also recap the Lottery Party and talk to Andrew Unterberger about enjoying things outside of winning and his final thoughts on the Tobias Harris trade.

With the last Hinkie associated NBA Lottery Pick at stake, and the Sixers in the playoffs and contenders for the Eastern Conference, it was a perfect time to end the Lottery Party.
