In this episode, we talked so much about breaking metal barriers when it comes to selling, how to get over being an introvert, how you can develop your mindset to be not only a great sales person, but to just win overall at life! Andy has a big conviction in helping people become winners in all aspects, just like myself, and I really resonated with that! Along with breaking down these barriers with mindset, we talked about some tactical things you can do in sales. Send a textOn today’s podcast I had Jack McColl on. Jack is a credit expert who showed up at my office with over 50 business credit cards! Let me tell you - as somebody who maxed out their credit cards to start their full business career, that’s what I did to flip houses, the way he’s doing it is way better and way different than how I did it. I had to endure a 500 credit score for years with all my utilization tapped out. The way he is helping people get business credit is much different and it doesn’t effect your personal score, and the limits are so much higher! We talked about how you’re able to do that, as well as the value of relationships with different banks. We also go over which credit cards are the best for starting out, wether you’re in real estate, e-commerce, or if you’re going to start videography or influencer business! There’s a bunch of credit cards that meet different kinds of needs and we go over all of those details, as well as all of the different things that make up your credit score. During today’s podcast, I publicly go over what my credit score is! I looked it up on the show, and I’ll just say that it’s not what I thought it was! Send a textOn today’s podcast I had Steve Valentine on! Steve is a realtor and investor out of Phoenix, AZ and he’s got a very interesting story! We talked about how he got started right before the whole market crashed, and how he had to go through all of these different things. He ended up leaving his family’s business with over a million dollars of debt that he had to pay back on his own, along with investing a million dollars in a business that didn’t pan out! At that time, he ended up getting an REO account during those early days with many foreclosures happening with Fanny and Freddie. Steve talks about how he sold over 5,000 homes during that period. It is absolutely insane to hear how he did that, as well as what is looked like behind the scenes selling homes for Fanny and Freddie and how much he was making. He talked about how his dad represented over 1,000 transactions at the courthouse for these foreclosures. And the worst part about that was that his investors didn’t leave him with any of the houses throughout that time! That heavily influenced Steve in his career to get into the investing space seeing what his dad went through. It’s created the business he has today, where he owns over 75 single-family rentals, helping people all over get rental properties, be creative, and solve problems in the Phoenix market. He talks about his strategy to get 10 deals per month with no marketing! So, if you’re in real estate, this is a super great story! We talked about Cathie Wood and her investments. We talked about how it relates to crypto currencies and FOREX, and how these guys are daytrading versus stocks. We even go into the meme stocks and how Wall Street is front running people with high-frequency trading. There’s a whole bunch of things that we cover everything stock related! Send a textOn today’s podcast I had Adrian Hernandez on. Adrian is one of the very few people I’ve met that wanted to be in real estate at a young age! He talked about how, as a 16 year old, he wanted to own a brokerage in Orange County and have the top producing real estate team. He ended up accomplishing that, only to find out that it actually wasn’t what he wanted! It’s a really cool story about his transition to becoming an investor, wholesaler, and building up a rental portfolio. He also went over what it was like being a 19 year old in the industry, and how he had to do things others weren’t willing to do. He spent hours every single day memorizing his scripts, and he was knocking one hundred doors per day! He discussed how learning all those things along the way just built up all of his skills that he has today. It helped him become a master of real estate! It’s cool to see how far he has come and to hear about what big goals he has now. I think you guys are really going to enjoy this podcast! Send a textOn today’s podcast I had Aaron Shumaker on. Aaron has sold his company for multiple nine figures. It’s a pretty crazy story he talked about where he started this company in his uncle’s basement selling security systems. We talked about what it was like navigating a start up business like that at 24 years old, and figuring out how to do all the simple things we know today, like marketing, handling competition from other competitions, and what it’s like going up against Amazon because they decided to get in the security game. Along with that, we also talked about crypto markets. He recently created a crypto fund. He’s bullish on a few different things that you want to make sure to hear about! We also go into what I am doing with my NFT! This is the first podcast where I publicly talked about my NFT, so if you’ve been wondering what my plans are in the space, I reveal a little bit of that. Overall, we just talked about what it’s like as an entrepreneur, going through failure on every business. It’s cool to relate that every business I’ve started has been a failure in the beginning, only for us to adapt and pivot to figure out what makes us successful. Aaron’s business was no different, and adapting through those changes was what allowed him to sell it for multiple nine figures.
