No Approval Needed with Kris Macc

I am super fired up to have my friend Kris Macchiarola back on the podcast. If you remember, Kris was my guest on Episode 9 (Exsellence in Emotional Intelligence) and we had an amazing conversation. It’s my most-listened-to episode to date and if you heard it, you know why. This time around, we shoot right out of the gate talking about her new book “#NoApprovalNeeded: Women Of The World Talk About Life In Their Forties”. While this book contains stories from women all over the world, it’s a great read for all. We talked about the commitment to writing, why she wrote it, and the beautiful and challenging stories women shared with her. She even sticks me with a couple of very difficult questions women asked of men. I know my answers won’t be popular with everyone (even Kris and I didn’t see eye to eye), but they were honest and from my heart. Beyond the book, we again dig into: Emotional intelligence Overcoming fear, self-doubt, and challenges Gender equality and the current gaps in society and so much more Give it a listen and tell me what you think! Building a Brand that Builds Itself – Keynote from WBM19

This episode features the audio from a keynote I recently shared titled “Building a Brand that Sells Itself”. While the audio is not to the quality I prefer, I believe the content and takeaways are worth listening to. More on this keynote: By creating a visible and consistent personal brand that demonstrates expertise while communicating a desire to offer value, you will draw your ideal clients to yourself. We must lean into who we are and what makes us great. Then and only then can we create a process to achieve the success we desire. Through great tragedy, I was inspired to reflect on this very idea of who I had become professionally. I thought I had it dialed in before only to realize I had lost a sense of who I was, clouded by my past successes and failures. Thankfully, my commitment to learn and grow from that experience resulted in me becoming an industry influencer, gaining the respect of my peers and the eye of my ideal clients. And I want the same results for others! Enjoy! Re-release: Achieving a Lean Culture and Habit of Exsellence with Robert Valentino

Yesterday was Memorial Day. And as I considered those who sacrificed their lives for us, I couldn’t help but think of the time I shared with Robert Valentino. Check out this re-release of an early episode of the Exsellence Mindset podcast. It was a great one! ——————– Robert Valentino is a Lean Six Sigma consultant and a former US Army Ranger. The experiences, skills, and mindset he acquired during his time in the military are related to Lean Six Sigma.
