David MacNaughton presented his credentials as Canada's Ambassador to the United States on March 3, 2016. As a seasoned entrepreneur and political strategist, Mr. MacNaughton brings a unique set of skills and experiences to his new role as Ambassador. In the 1980s, Mr. MacNaughton transformed the public affairs industry by building an organization that comprised government relations, public opinion research and public relations. After selling his business in 1989, Mr. MacNaughton became President of Canada's largest government and public relations firm and subsequently North American President of the world's largest public relations firm. From 1995 until 2003, Mr. MacNaughton was President of Strathshore Financial and was an advisor to one of Canada's leading investment banks. Mr. MacNaughton's public sector experience includes work at both the federal and provincial levels, including as advisor to the Minister at the Departments of Transport, Industry and Foreign Affairs. He was principal secretary to the Premier of Ontario from 2003 to 2005 and the Chairman of StrategyCorp from 2005 until his appointment. Active in community affairs. Mr. MacNaughton has served on the boards of the North York General Hospital, the Stratford Festival, the National Ski Academy, TV Ontario, the Toronto French School and the Toronto International Film Festival. Mr. MacNaughton is married and has four daughters.

lan Russell is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Industry Association of Canada, IIAC, a position he has held since its inauguration in April 2006. Prior to his appointment at the IIAC, Mr. Russell was Senior Vice President, Industry Relations and Representation, at the Investment Dealers Association of Canada, IDA. In his 20 year tenure with the IDA and the IIAC, he has participated actively in many committees and working groups involved in regulatory and tax issues related to the securities industry and capital markets. He is a frequent commentator in the media, a regular columnist in industry publications and a sought after speaker on industry issues and developments. In January 2014, Mr. Russell was appointed Chair of the International Council of Securities Associations, ICSA Mr. Russell has an Honours degree in Economics and Business from the University of Western Ontario, and a postgraduate degree, MSc Economics, from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has completed the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Qualifying Examination and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
David Rosenberg is the Firm's Chief Economist and Strategist with a focus on providing a top down perspective to the Firm's investment process and Asset Mix Committee. Mr. Rosenberg received both a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Gluskin Sheff in the spring of 2009, Mr. Rosenberg was Chief North American Economist at Merrill Lynch in New York for seven years, during which he was consistently ranked in the Institutional Investor All Star analyst rankings. Prior thereto, he was Chief Economist and Strategist for Merrill Lynch Canada, based out of Toronto. Mr. Rosenberg is also the author of Breakfast with Dave, a daily distillation of his economic and financial market insights.
Jonathan E. Lewis is the Chief Investment Officer for Fiera Capital's U.S. division, chairs the Fixed Income Investment Committee, and is a member of the Management and Tactical Asset Allocation Committees. Jonathan manages fixed income portfolios for high net worth individuals and institutions and is lead manager for the Fiera Capital STRONG Nations currency fund. Glenn Thibeault was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 2015 as the MPP for Sudbury. He currently serves as Minister of Energy. He was previously Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, focusing on Climate Change. Before entering provincial politics, Thibeault was the Member of Parliament for Sudbury. He is a strong advocate for supports for persons with developmental disabilities, and for quality services for families struggling with autism. Thibeault is also a champion for greater retirement security, enhanced consumer protection measures and significant investment in the Ring of Fire. As a director with the United Way, he led many successful campaigns in support of community development. He has also been a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as with minor hockey and football leagues. Thibeault was born and raised in Sudbury, and is a graduate of Cambrian College. He lives in Sudbury with his wife, Yolanda, and their two daughters.

Tom Ridge, Former Governor of Pennsylvania On Cyber Terrorism: The Next Wave
Tom Ridge is Co-Founder of Ridge Canada. He provides clients with solutions to cyber security, international security and risk management issues. Following the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, Tom Ridge became the first Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and, on January 24, 2003, became the first Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The creation of the country's 15th Cabinet Department marked the largest reorganization of government since the Truman administration and another call to service for the former soldier, congressman and governor of Pennsylvania. During his DHS tenure, Secretary Ridge worked with more than 180,000 employees from a combined 22 agencies to create an agency that facilitated the flow of people and goods, instituted layered security at air, land and seaports, developed a unified national response and recovery plan, protected critical infrastructure, integrated new technology and improved information sharing worldwide. Tom Ridge served as Secretary of this historic and critical endeavor until February 1, 2005. Before the events of September 11th, Tom Ridge was twice elected Governor of Pennsylvania. He served as the state's 43rd governor from 1995 to 2001. Governor Ridge's aggressive technology strategy helped fuel the state's advances in economic development, education, health care and the environment. He serves on the boards of the Institute for Defense Analyses, the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress and other private and public entities. He is currently chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's National Security Task Force. He graduated from Harvard with honors. After his first year at Penn State University's Dickinson School of Law, he was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served as an infantry staff sergeant in Vietnam, earning the Bronze Star for Valor, the Combat Infantry Badge and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. After returning to Pennsylvania and to Dickinson, he earned his law degree and, later, became one of the first Vietnam co Representatives, where he served six terms.

Patrick Brown was elected Leader of the Ontario PC Party in May, 2015 and MPP for Simcoe North a few months later in September, 2015. He began his public service career when he was elected at the age of 22 to Barrie City Council while still a student. Patrick stepped into federal politics in 2004, running for the newly formed Conservative Party of Canada in Barrie. He lost that year, but ran again in 2006 and defeated a cabinet minister to become MP for Barrie. Patrick served as MP for nine years until stepping down after winning the Ontario PC Leadership. Patrick works tirelessly to listen to and build strong partnerships with individuals, groups, first responder organizations, both at home and abroad, establishing connections that enable him to better serve his constituents and to serve the people of Ontario as Leader of the Official Opposition. An alumni of St. Michael's College School in Toronto, Patrick studied political science at the University of Toronto before earning his LL.B from the University of Windsor. Patrick also attended l'Université du Québec à Trois Rivières for extensive French studies. Patrick is an avid hockey, tennis player and accomplished marathon runner. He has helped to raise nearly $2 million dollars for the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie and other charities, including JDRF, Autism Ontario, ALS Canada, Busby Street Centre, Talk is Free Theatre, and The Bill Wilkins Scholarship.

Alain Bellemare was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, Bombardier Inc. on February 13, 2015. He is also a member of the Corporation's Board of Directors. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Bellemare was President and Chief Executive Officer of UTC Propulsion and Aerospace Systems, a $30 billion US business, from July 2012 to January 2015. In this role, he had leadership responsibility for Pratt and Whitney and UTC Aerospace Systems. He led the successful acquisition and integration of Goodrich, which was combined with Hamilton Sundstrand to form UTC Aerospace Systems. His responsibilities also included some of the largest programs in UTC's history, among them the integrated aerospace systems for the Boeing 787, Pratt and Whitney's Geared TurboFan Engine and the F135 engine for the Joint Strike Fighter. Alain Bellemare began his career with UTC at Pratt and Whitney Canada in 1996 as Vice President of Manufacturing. He held leadership roles of increasing responsibility at UTC including President of Pratt and Whitney Canada, 2002, President of Hamilton Sundstrand, 2009, and Chief Operating Officer of UTC Propulsion and Aerospace Systems, 2011. In these roles, he was responsible for global operations, strategic planning and business development. Before joining Pratt and Whitney Canada, Mr. Bellemare spent more than 12 years in a variety of engineering and manufacturing positions with Kraft Canada and Crown Cork and Seal Canada. He earned an MBA from McGill University in 1993 and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke in 1985. He specialized in aeronautical engineering at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Construction Aéronautique, ENSICA, in Toulouse, France. In 2007, Alain Bellemare received the prestigious Flight magazine Publisher's Award in recognition of his leadership in propelling Pratt and Whitney Canada to a position of great strength around the world, and for his contribution to aerospace. In 2006, he received the McGill Management Achievement Award for his community involvement and contributions to the Canadian economy. In 2001, he was honored as Nouveau Performant in recognition for his excellence in management. He also joined the ranks of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 in recognition of his achievements, vision and leadership. Mr. Bellemare is a member of the Faculty Advisory Board of McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. He also serves on the Board of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Prior to joining BlackBerry, he served as Chairman and CEO of Sybase Inc. from 1997 for 15 years, where he developed and led the company's re invention from a mature, slower growth technology company into a $1.5 billion plus high growth innovator. Under his direction, Sybase became the leading provider of enterprise mobility and mobile commerce solutions, achieving 55 consecutive quarters of profitability. John previously held a series of executive positions at Siemens Nixdorf, Pyramid Technology Corp., Unisys and Burroughs Corp, where he started his career as an engineer. John graduated from Brown University magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and holds a master's in electrical engineering from California Institute of Technology. Andrea Cohen Barrack, CEO, Ontario Trillium Foundation: Andrea Cohen Barrack is the CEO of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, one of Canada's largest grant making foundations. OTF works to build healthy and vibrant communities through investments in human and social services, arts and culture, sports and recreation, and the environment. A transformative leader, she has a demonstrated history of both developing strategies which promise positive change and leading others to deliver on those promises.
Sevaun Palvetzian, CEO, CivicAction: Sevaun Palvetzian has been CEO at CivicAction since January of 2014. Before CivicAction, Sevaun held several senior executive roles within the Ontario Government including leading the Ontario Place Revitalization project and launching the Youth and New Professional Secretariat, a government wide strategy to attract and retain future generations of leaders which included launching the award winning Learn and Work Program for at risk youth.
Daniele Zanotti, President and CEO of United Way, Toronto and York Region: Daniele Zanotti was named President and CEO of United Way in June 2016. With more than 20 years of experience in the public and non profit sectors, he has earned a reputation as an accomplished, strategic, and energetic leader. Daniele served as CEO of United Way York Region from 2007 to 2015. During that time he led an evolution that transformed the charity from federated fundraiser into a convener, mobilizer, and agent of community change. Under his guidance, the charity launched new initiatives to foster community dialogue; invested in more targeted and effective ways, and brought new social services to the communities most in need.
