Rahul Bhardwaj, President and CEO, Institute of Corporate Directors | February 26, 2020
The Empire Club of Canada Presents:
Rahul Bhardwaj, President and CEO, Institute of Corporate Directors With Changing Times = Changing Leadership
The old director adage of “nose in, fingers out” no longer applies because every organization is being disrupted or is a disruptor. So business models and strategies, and now boards of directors must transform at warp speed. Social activism, media hyper-transparency, seismic demographic and workforce shifts, digital technology, geopolitical instability, shareholder activism and ‘unknown unknowns’ are making the old ways of oversight obsolescent and irrelevant.
Rahul Bhardwaj, President and CEO, the Institute of Corporate Directors, discusses what today’s active and accountable board leadership looks like - and how active and engaged board leaders can foster and support competitive advantage.
Speaker: Rahul Bhardwaj, President and CEO, Institute of Corporate Directors
