In Late April 1945 the Third Reich’s days were numbered. Key members of the Nazi party including Adolf Hitler himself retreated to the heavily fortified underground facility known as The Führerbunker. It would be here that the World’s most infamous man at the time would end his life, or so official reports claim. In Plato’s histories the Greek historian described a city that shined as a beacon of power and technology. A city, so wealthy, it was able to cover it’s walls in brass and gold. It possessed vast military might and a powerful navy which helped it to conquer most of what was the known world at the time. He was speaking, of course, of Atlantis. This mighty nation was said to have been destroyed by the gods nearly overnight by devastating earthquakes and other natural disasters. While it is still hotly debated whether Atlantis was an actual city or perhaps an allegory used by Plato, this has not stopped historians and archaeologists from trying to tease it’s actual location from Plato’s writings. Off the coast of Nova Scotia sits a small unassuming island named for the tall oak trees that can bee seen even far out at sea. This island is rumored to have been a haven for ne’er do wells during the Golden Age of piracy in the the 1600 and 1700s. The area was sparsely populated in those days and offered an abundance of natural resources for those who may have found respite there from pursuing Naval vessels. On this island In 1795 a group of young men discovered an unusual depression in the ground which seemed too regular to be natural. Inspired by the long standing rumours of buried treasure the young men began digging into what is arguably one of the greatest mysteries of modern times. Many groups have continued the excavation that those young men started in 1795 and each time coming across tantalizing pieces of evidence of what lays at the bottom of what has now come to be called “The Money Pit”. Cindy James   Cindy James lived in an ordinary suburb of Richmond in Vancouver, British Columbia. A nurse by trade, Cindy lived an unremarkable life while married to her psychologist husband Roy Makepeace. Roy and Cindy separated in 1982 and shortly after began a series of events that would lead to one of Canada’s most mysterious unsolved cases. The following years Cindy alleged she was the target of psychological and at times physical torture by a mysterious assailant. Threatening phone calls, assaults inside her home, and even a case of what was possibly arson eventually cost the Royal Canadian Mounted Police 1 million dollars in resources to investigate. Cindy’s ordeal would eventually lead to the gruesome discovery of her body discovered in a ditch with arms bound behind her, barefoot, miles from her own home. Her death was ruled a suicide. Gobekli Tepe It’s not every day you get to rewrite the story of human history. When German Archaeologist Klaus Schmidt took a closer look at what had seemed to be nothing more than a Medieval burial ground in 1994 he quickly realized it was something quite a bit more significant. For almost a decade Schmidt would work to bring to light the mysteries of this staggeringly important archaeological site.  Efforts by German and international teams have uncovered enormous upright T-shaped stones and intricate carvings which have been dated to a time before human agriculture or even human written language. To this day only an estimated 5% of the complex has been excavated and much more of it lays underground where it seems that the builders may have intentionally buried it for unknown reasons. America’s Cold War with Russia drove human innovation forward for almost half a century. From the rocket technology that sent men to the moon to unlocking the secrets of the atom that promised untold destruction as well as unlimited power. If you were a scientist at the time including “application for military use” on your research grant proposal was almost a guaranteed carte blanche from the U.S. Government. The Russian Federation has the largest land area of any country in the modern world. That’s over 6.5 million square miles of widely varying terrain and sparsely populated areas. What lies beneath the former Iron Curtain? For a country that is widely known for its secrecy and subterfuge it would be folly to assume that the former Soviet Union has never witnessed or recorded contact with UFOs. In the far eastern town of Dalnegorsk, just northeast of Vladvostok, an event took place in 1986 that created quite a stir in the Russian and even International UFO community. On January 29, the residents of Dalnegorsk witnessed a mysterious red Orb shaped UFO approach a mountain in the nearby range and seemingly make a landing impact that could be felt near the site.
