In this week’s episode we address, in real time, the unfolding calamity that Ye (the artist formerly known as Kanye West) has unleashed upon the world with his new controversial single “He*l H*tler” from his upcoming album “Cuck.” As of recording this episode it has been banned on nearly every platform on the internet but has gone viral anyway and has evolved into a cultural phenomena that has left the majority of us confused, offended and, if we’re honest, uncomfortably amused. While burying our heads in the sand is a good enough solution for some, we hope to apply our god given gifts of discernment to meet this cultural phenomena head on,  dissect exactly how fascist movements form and how art is used to either fuel or foil it. We discuss not just the historical context of Ye’s new single but unpack some of the esoteric symbolism therein to help us weigh out not just its hidden messages how much of this stunt is satire and how much is serious. What we discover is deep, dark and full of enough nuance to promise that anyone daring enough to take a glimpse will have plenty to consider when making up their own damn minds. In the first half of the show we look at some historical examples of where, in alignment with Sun Tzu’s principles, snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
