Legendary Motivation
In this session, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan acquaints us on how to mentally break apart, to delineate the Muslim population, the community that we have and then take some advice from the Qur’an because the advice from the Qur’an applies to all of us. The counsel of the Qur’an and Sunnah via stories is not adhered to or taken in seriousness. And in our discourse, we have created an environment and a culture that is marked by disconnect which is actually detrimental.
Allah said, ‘al husna’ which is the superlative form of the Arabic language, the very best and He didn’t say if the very best is for those who struggled in tough times and not so much for those who came afterwards and had easier struggle. So there are people that are going to be able to do a lot more than you and there are people who are able to do a lot less than you.
Hence, we should actually elevate the expectations of the person who is eager to learn and fathom the greatness of Islam without overburdening him or her by the greatness of the teacher.
Nobody had a larger burden on their shoulders than Rasoolullah ﷺ. No one in human history ever had it, and no one in the human future will ever have a larger burden than this man had to carry for 23 years, which is no time at all to do what he did. And yet when he is sending people on a mission to spread the word of Islam, he is telling companions,” yassiru wa la tu'assiru yassira wa la tu'assira.” ‘Make ease and don’t make difficulty.’
The optimism of the teacher is also a major point that is overlooked. We don’t talk enough about the optimism of the Messengers ﷺ. Allah never gives up on us, though we make the unforgivable mistake of doing exactly that. Parents, spouses, friends will give up on you. But Allah will not give up on us. People will judge and condemn as they please but Allah will never close your door. So, it is absolutely essential that we do not despair of the hope of goodness from Allah and will revive and rejuvenate our relationship with Allah SWT.

Foundations Of Faith
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan delivers an amazing lecture on the fundamentals and foundation of faith.
He goes on to differentiate between beneficial and useless information. He directs us towards our thought process which in most of us is useless information. This, in turn, makes us reticent to accept, imbibe and inculcate beneficial information such that it has a positive impact on us.
The Qur'an and the Sunnah follow the ideology of letting people of good minds - they remember Allah and think of the creations of Allah SWT. They invoke in themselves the Dhikr of Allah which amounts to a spiritual exercise. If we want to make people tread on the Path of Islam, we need to adhere to spirituality and intellectuality. We need to remember Allah at all times for us to let beneficial information seep into our hearts and minds.
The floor also opens for an informative Q & A which answers our doubts on various issues in the most alluring way possible. Listen intently and be mesmerised by this heart-warming lecture.

Story Of Musa From The Quran
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan acquaints us with the lessons imparted to us from an amazing individual that fascinates our imagination in the Qur'an and he is Musa AS. His narrative is mentioned at around 70 places in the Qur'an and every time we hear it's mind-boggling.
Prophet Musa (AS) is the most commonly mentioned Prophet in the Noble Quran. Prophet Musa AS was born at the time of Fir’aun. Muslims believed in all Messengers of Allah SWT and Noble Books which were revealed to them. Prophet Musa (AS) was sent to the people of Israel to make them worship Allah SWT. Allah (SWT) says that the story of Musa (AS) and Firaun in the Quran is the truth. It is a story of political conspiracy and of oppression that knew no bounds. In the Noble Qur'an, Allah SWT says:
“We recite to you some of the news of Musa and Firaun in truth, for a people who believe. Verily, Firaun exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them; killing their sons and letting their females live. Verily, he was of those who committed great sins and crimes, oppressors, tyrants.”
Ustadh also shares with us tidbits that belong to Surah Taha where the dialogue between Musa AS and Firaun is discussed and elucidated upon. Elaborating on various Ayahs of the Qur'an via the stories shared with us, in one such instance - we are intrigued as to who Musa AS is getting to meet? Allah! This is a conversation that is of epic proportions in human history. A conversation between Allah and human being and the conversation was initiated by Allah and the human was called by his name directly! Musa! This part of the Ayah is exemplary with regard to the conversation Musa AS just had. If there's one thing Musa AS is never going to forget, it's this.
What does Allah say in this conversation? Allah says, even you! If you really want to remember me, establish Salah. Can you imagine the importance of Salah now with respect to remembering Allah! Next comes the secondary purpose which reminds us and reasserts the impending fact that the hour is coming. The Judgement day is coming.

The Battle And Balance Between Heart, Mind And Soul
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan acquaints us with an understanding of the reason behind accepting and rejecting the guidance based on understanding the Quranic psychology. There are two basic entities - Al-Aql or intellect related to mind and Qalb-the Heart.
The intellect refers to understanding, thinking, reflecting, learning and recognizing and it’s always progressive irrespective of the age. The linguistic meaning of intellect is to tie up the emotions (lies in the heart) and restrain them. The other entity - the heart, its foremost quality is the remembrance of Allah, it also contains, fear, caution, love, ego, hate and all other forms of psychological diseases. But these qualities of the heart are not progressive, they move and fluctuate.
In the Noble Quran Allah has referred to the heart as a processor of information, particularly concerning emotions which attracts the attention to the relationship between the mind and the heart. Allah has made our heart clear, which recognize Him and His Sovereignty, that clearance of heart is called Fitrah’. But when this heart becomes ill with greed, jealousy, hatred, ego, and temptations it loses its Fitrah’. Our Fitrah’ wants to connect with the outside light that is Revelation but our Nafs won't let this happen easily. The soul of every human being is submitted to Allah. But the desires of Nafs which resides in the heart makes him deviate from the right path.

Quran Your Companion On The Day Of Judgement
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan delves into a mesmerizing lecture that deals with the Qur'an being our companion in this life and the Hereafter. What qualifies in picking a worthy companion?
In the end of Surah Al Waqiah, Allah SWT takes an oath:
“So I swear by the setting of the stars.” (56:75)
The objects that Allah chooses to take oaths by in the Quran are very relevant. There’s always a purpose for choosing that specific object. What’s the purpose of choosing star-placements as the object of the oath in this passage? Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan mentions three functions of stars that clarify this purpose.
The functions of placements of stars in the sky:
Guidance
Beautification
Protection from Shaytan
Listen intently to fully fathom the explanations on these points and the seriousness of this and help yourselves to comprehend the lessons we need to imbibe and inculcate through this lecture.

A Balanced Approach To Religion
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan delivers a brilliant lecture that aims at striking a balance in a world constantly pushing us to life-altering extremes. Difficult as it may be, the Holy Quran not only emphasizes balance in our lives but also provides us a solution. The following ideas and pointers are dealt with in this mesmerizing lecture:
On the one hand, we have people who have knowledge but no good actions and there are others without knowledge and henceforth, no good deeds.
When Allah SWT talks about the sky in Surah Ar Rahman which is to illustrate the majesty and lay our focus on one of the best Creation of Allah SWT.
Allah SWT lays stress on all His creations and emphasizes that all His designs are in balance and in perfect harmony with each other.
Islam wants us to emphasize moderation and balance in all aspects of life, whether it is religion, relationships, ideas, or daily activities. Principled moderation is one of the most important characteristics of a person with good character in Islam. We have created such a dose of imbalance in our lives that it is proving detrimental in our personal domain. We just do excessive of both extremes and hence, land ourselves in a mess that could have been conveniently avoided, had we chosen to stay firm on the path of Islam advocated by Allah SWT - the Path of Moderation and Balance.
Listen intently to this enlightening lecture replete with astonishingly simplified analogies that will surely illuminate your lives in the right direction.
