Amazed By The Quran - End The Blame Game
There are people in this world who deny that they do anything bad because shaytan has beautified their deeds for them. And there are others who admit that theyâre bad, but blame others for it, just like Prophet Yusufâs conspiring brothers who used that as an excuse to throw him into the well. This is the biggest lie you can tell yourself. You are the only one responsible for the way you are and for the choices you make. Pointing fingers and assigning blame won't change anything. Some of the greatest prophets had terrible wives, children or parents, but they endured. We cannot hide behind other people to justify our own flaws but must fix ourselves to the best of our ability.

Tafseer Of Surah At Tahreem
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan goes into an in-depth analysis and Tafseer of Ayats 1 to 3 makeup section 1 of Surah At Tahreem.
“O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Allah has already ordained for you [Muslims] the dissolution of your oaths. And Allah is your protector, and He is the Knowing, the Wise. And [remember] when the Prophet confided to one of his wives a statement; and when she informed [another] of it and Allah showed it to him, he made known part of it and ignored apart. And when he informed her about it, she said, "Who told you this?" He said, "I was informed by the Knowing, the Acquainted."
There is a sensitivity and respect in the Qur'an when the Noble Prophet ﷺ is addressed and this shows his nobility and honour granted and afforded to him. Hence, when Prophet ﷺ is talked about, it is said - Ya Ayyuhannabiyyu and similar connotations.
The love and zeal of obeying the Prophet ﷺ based on Hadith without listening to the backstory behind the Hadith can tend to very wrong ramifications. Hence, words of the Prophet ﷺ should not be spread carelessly without going in-depth into it.

Amazed By The Quran - The Hoopoe And The Sun-Worshippers
With great eloquence, the hoopoe in Surat An-Naml reports back to Prophet Suleiman about what he saw in Sheba and how the queen and her people were prostrating to the sun. This amazing bird gives a profound analysis of how the shaytan has beautified their rituals and prevented them from the correct path to the point where they will accept no guidance. We learn from this story that each of Allahâs creatures has its own language and that they record what human beings do. They are all witnesses to our actions, and just because they don't speak comprehensibly to us now, doesn't mean that they wonât do so on judgment day.

Amazed By The Quran - Repent Allah Loves You
In an incredible recurring phrase in the Quran, Allah says that He loves those who repent over and over again, those he calls âattawwabeenâ. Massive in his love, and incredibly infinite in his mercy Allah doesnât simply say that he accepts the repentance of those who continue sinning and disobeying, He says that He love them because they also continue repenting. No human being is even remotely capable of such sentiments.

Amazed By The Quran - Allahs Boundless Generosity
In aya 12 of Surat Yunus, Allah describes those who turn to Him only when they are facing troubles but refuse to acknowledge his generosity after He alleviates them of their burdens. From this we learn that Allah removes difficulty from people who don't thank him and even when He knows that their calls to Him are not genuine. Just try to imagine what He will do for those who are grateful to him?

Amazed By The Quran - Nothing Short of Excellence
In Surat Al-Anaâam right after prohibiting shirk (the association of anyone or anything with God) Allah says "and when it comes to both parents: excellenceâ. Allah gives a directive denoting that the standard with which we must deal with parents is excellence. This is the minimum requirement and anything short of the very best is prohibited. We must beware of trivializing what upsets our parents and show goodness to them in both their presence and absence. This, however, does not mean that Allah has commanded perfection. He asks us to do our best within our unique situation. Some parents are abusive so this aya should not be interpreted as a blanket instruction that is obligatory under any circumstances. Each relationship is different and Allah is only asking us to do our best within our specific limits.

Practical Advice After The Election
Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan's thoughts, reminders, and reflections on the effect of the election polls.
We need to remind ourselves that we have been such hostile situations before and hence, we should be ably prepared for the same.
The Ustadh now gives an example of the Battle of Uhud. Surah Ale Imran demonstrates the happenings of the Battle of Uhud. the main point of interest is centered around the neglect made by the Sahabas in the Battle of Uhud which caused an injury and wounding of the Prophet ﷺ.
Even the Muslims found themselves in the doldrums were they not for once reprimanded by the Prophet SAW. instead, the Prophet ﷺ brought his epitome of mercy and kindness forth to calm down the Sahabas who were mortified with guilt.
A lesson to imbibe and inculcate from these happenings is that we too need to keep a brave front in the face of trials and adversities and not be overwhelmed by them. Everything good or bad is from Allah and He alone is the All-Knowing. We should take comfort in the fact that Allah will never abandon us and will never burden us with trials more than what we can bear. We should take solace in the fact that Allah is always watching us and His Rahmah will always encompass us if we stay steadfast on the path of Islam.
