Juan Carlos RodriguezSpanish Service Juan Rodriguez, who is from El Salvador, earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from JBU in 2006, an M.S. in mechanical engineering from University of Tulsa in 2008 and an M.S. in higher education and leadership from JBU in 2016. He worked at JBU for ten years, including as a professor of mechanical engineering, and most recently as Dean of Residence Life. It was during Juan's first semester at JBU that God saved him, so he wholeheartedly believes in the transformational power of Christian higher education. He currently works for Kawneer in Springdale, Arkansas, as an extrusion process engineer, and lives with his wife Lulu and three daughters, Emma, Valentina and Camila.

Roberta Green Ahmanson - (September 16, 2025)
Convocation /Roberta AhmansonRoberta Green Ahmanson is a writer, speaker, and philanthropist who focuses on the confluence of religion, art, and culture. For the past 30 years her work has been influenced by travel across the globe. In 2022 she and her husband Howard led a tour for seven presidents of historic Christian colleges to experience the DNA of the Christian faith through its art and architecture, starting at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, journeying to Rome, Pisa, Bologna, Ravenna, Padua, Venice, Aachen, Ghent, and London. Her focus is on the ways built reality embodies ideas and even doctrine. She and her husband have sponsored exhibitions at the National Gallery in London including The Sacred Made Real and Francis of Assisi. She is a member of the Collectors Committee of the National Gallery in Washington, D.C. She is coming to the finish line of a book on how longing for the New Jerusalem has shaped art and architecture in the West. She has been a teacher and a journalist covering religion.

His publications include various articles and books, with his most recent being a chapter addressing student anxiety in Stewarding Our Bodies: A Vision for Christian Student Affairs.

Harry Li (September 3, 2025)
Spiritual Emphasis Week:Harry Li Harry Li, Ph.D., is Senior Pastor of Mosaic Church • Little Rock where he has served for over 23 years. He has a heart for bringing some 30 nations together, and building a multi-ethnic, economically diverse church in an under-resourced urban setting. He regularly provides Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Training for a variety of faith-based educational institutions, houses of worship, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Prior to coming to Mosaic, Harry was Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Idaho, where he did research for NASA, Boeing, and others in the development of high voltage, radiation tolerant integrated circuits for deep space exploration. Harry has a heart for prayer ministry, having led a citywide prayer movement in Little Rock and facilitating many worship-based prayer retreats for pastors, churches, and ministries. Harry and his wife, Melanie, reside in Little Rock.
