And many, many blessings your way. Namaste. Okay, this is perhaps the simplest meditation I’ll be leading so far, but it’s also quite likely the most powerful. For this is the one where it all begins. To bring more love into our lives, we need to love ourselves more first. This requires burning new messages into our minds, or pressing new grooves into the record that plays over and over again in our heads. Unless you’ve ascended, chances are there are still some negative messages rolling around like marbles. I know for myself, I had a TON of them, and like you still have some to work on myself. But where it all begins is self love. When we truly love ourselves, we can love another, we attract more love into our lives, and attract incredible positive experiences and outcomes. It all comes from the love. So today we’ll be burning a new self-love record. We’ll be repeating a very simple self-love mantra over and over again. Now you don’t need to believe what you’re saying, in order for positive benefits to take place. Let me repeat that. You don’t have to believe it. Just keep repeating the mantra. It’ll raise your energy levels, raise your vibrations, and over time, you can’t help but begin to believe it! I recommend doing this every day for at least a month. Commit to it for yourself. Wake up, roll over, and practice 3 to 5 minutes of this I Love Myself Meditation. So how do you do it? Well, I’ll have you repeat along with me, the simple words I Love Myself. At the same time, you’ll breath nice and slow as your right hand massages your chest in a circular motion clockwise (up inside, down outside) on your chest, or tapping your chest right above the heart with your first and second finger. It’ super-simple, looks pretty silly, and amazingly effective. I swear by it, and it’s dramatically helped me rewrite some toxic wiring in my mind... Of course, in its simplicity lies it’s beauty. All you’re going to do is inhale for a count of four, hold for a count of four, exhale for a count of four, and hold for a count of four. Of course, I always want you to inhale in and out through the nose, which has great health benefits, and dramatically helps relax the body. Rather than trying to quiet the mind, try to just keep focusing on the breath. If a thought comes up, and it will, notice you’re thinking, then go right back to your breath. It’s like you’re out on a date, someone may stop by to say hi, but you’ve got you’re date, so you probably won’t invite them to the table. Now I don’t want you to be rude, but if a thought comes up, you don’t have to it to the table either, simply go back to your date, which in this case is your breath. Alright, are you ready to begin? I’ll give you the count, and we’ll just go for a few short minutes. Of course, feel free to continue after I stop, for as long as you’d like. The more you do this, the easier it gets, the more you’re pressing new grooves into the record of your mind, and the more relaxed, and resilient your mind becomes... Avoid the idea of pipe-dreams. But if really want to do something, need the intention to do it, and the attention to get it done (Intention Followed by Attention) Friend (Harold) who loved Russian Cossack Uniforms Became an example of doing, rather than trying Have to commit or it may not happen Difference between trying and affirmations Affirmations are funny Two kinds of Affirmations Bernie is the handsomest man – the affirmations you don’t quite believe, but people believe the negative stuff about them Need to get the world to give you the signal Get this by doing and succeeding The Gift of Failure & The Bias Toward Action Don’t sit around thinking about making a move, when you get an idea, make a move! For example, if you want to ask someone for a date, don’t sit around wondering for 3 months, but ask her for a date. May work, or may not, but will get to the end and find some success much sooner than sitting around wondering about it. Michael: The Million Dollar Demo Has a class called Launch Pad – You do what the design thinking methodology helps you do. Have to make income w/in 10 weeks. Students from India came in with an ipad ap idea. Turned into an incredibly successful idea – a 90 million dollar idea!!! Human nature don’t want to do it until perfect It’s okay to make a mistake, it’s a fantastic way to learn. How we used Design Thinking to Build Inspire Nation – Woo Hoo! The Importance of Language in everyday speech Example I can’t vs. I won’t – I can’t is powerless I won’t is God Like, it’s a choice Saying things in a way that’s empowering vs. a way that’s disempowering. Test can’t do something vs. won’t do something and see how it makes you feel The danger of the conjunction but It’s a negative, or a damper, or in improve, it’s “blocking” Energy shift difference between But and And Big fight with his publisher, publisher kept putting but in book, he kept replacing them with And. Helping vs. Assisting Saying you’ll help makes them feel powerless Assisting feels like you’re lending a helpful hand Group Habits Why is Streaking or Running Naked Beneficial? Why energy shifts and “interruptions” are terrific and great shifts in energy, they change the atmosphere. The wilder and more bizarre the interruption the happier he is. Welcome and support the streaks in your life How do we build resiliency into our lives The winning is not the whole thing, it’s taking part that’s important Train kids to be important with the effort, then doesn’t matter if the goal is successful this time How do you train people to move past the tribe? Okay, this is a meditation or exercise I use quite frequently, especially over recent days as I’m doing some pretty fun rewiring of my mind, and I’m going to have you do it at first, slightly different from how I’m doing it. The goal of this meditation is to help you catch repeated thoughts before they start creating an endless loop in your mind. Ideally we get to learn how to drop all thoughts, but it’s the repeated offenders that get us the most. It’s said we have 60,000 thoughts a day, and that 90 some-odd percent of those are the same thoughts over and over again.
