This object lesson reminds us that we can have peaceful rest in Jesus if we know we are ready to meet Him and go to Heaven someday very soon. It also reminds us to rest in Jesus and not worry or be afraid or stress or have anxiety. We can cast all those cares upon Him because He cares about us and will be there for us at all times.

This is the last lesson in Pastor A.J.'s book, but since kids like the "deadly animal" shows they see, we decided to extend the kid's series a few more weeks. This gives us a few more weeks to discuss things that make God happy and what things to stay away from and keep out of our life! We want to be sure we are all fully equipped for our spiritual journey, just as we would for a natural hike in the woods. Only our spiritual journey is even more important! Spiritual death will keep you out of Heaven.
