Dusty Chipura: Oversharing, boundaries & hyperactive brains

Episode 45 with Dusty Chipura."I definitely feel like I’ve never read the instructions to life."Dusty is an AACC certified ADHD Coach who lives in Abbotsford, BC, and she coaches people from all walks of life with ADHD, and specializes in coaching pregnant people with ADHD.Dusty’s interest in supporting people with ADHD during pregnancy began when she realized there were little to no resources that addressed the experience of having ADHD during pregnancy outside of confusing medical literature about medication, and that many physicians did not agree about the use of stimulant- based medications during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and that this was leading to further distress on the part of pregnant people with ADHD. Dusty talks about being given the “weird kid” label and how that affected her identity, and her experiences as a musician with ADHD in her 20s.
